Duran doesn't ever seem to lose a lightweight h2h, does he? But if he did, I'm not sure it would be to an early 70s version of Laguna. A peak 60s version against an early 70s Duran would be a different fight, though.

I can't really judge Buchanan's wins over Laguna here as Ismael was a little past his peak in the first fight and starting down in the second, but for him at his best he was a great mover, great speed and he could box like that for a full 15 rounds. I'm thinking of Duran's fight against Ray Lampkin who was not near as fast as Laguna and how he stayed half a step ahead of Roberto for 11 rounds. Duran also could come full force for 15 and I'm guessing he would catch and stop Ismael very late and slightly behind in points.
