Golovkin's jab is far better than Donaire's, however, which is a huge part of the reason Alvarez was touched more. If Donaire had a jab as good as GGG's, I think Inoue takes more of them than Alvarez did. I also think GGG is just a more rounded offensive fighter than Donaire. Rigondeaux, for instance, was slicker against a better version of Donaire than Inoue was and I would class Lomachenko's and Alvarez's defense as being better or at least near the quality of that. Lomachenko and Alvarez will spend extended periods in their opponent's wheelhouse, whereas Inoue prefers to stay at distance, so it's not enough to say Inoue gets hit less. Plus you have to add in the level of competition and the fact that Inoue has enough power to keep guys more honest. Naoya is not as transitive or as a fluid as others and naturally that will be the case for a more offensive-minded guy. It's fine. He still has good defense. All I'm saying he could improve.

Casimero already ducked Inoue. And his fat ass didn't bother making weight for Butler, so he faked an ailment. Casimero is a straight clown.

Like I said. He is not a gym rat. Like a kambosos or many other dedicated pros. He loves to have cook outs and rarely trains when he doesn't have a fight. That's how he rolls. But a ducker? no way.

He turned down the fight for December. Remember, he prematurely announced the fight and even gave an exact date many months ago. My guess is that he received the offer, thought about it, and said nah, I don't feel like getting knocked out.

Sometimes fighters have off nights, in terms of longevity an athlete's 'bottom level' of performance can be just as, if not more important than their ceiling.

Inoue is so good that if he doesnt blast somebody out in 2 rounds it means he's in decline!

Inoue mentioned in the post-fight interview that Dipaen was tough.

Inoue also fought after 2 years in his home country after 2 years and would have wanted to give a show of atleast a few rounds.

Some also mentioned that they think Inoue hurt his right hand around the 4th round. Maybe that is the reason that an early KO was not produced.
