The fight was already set up when Crawford beat Porter. Ugas is a solid champion and Spence might be taking him a little too lightly. He could very well lose his titles to Ugas for a lot less money.

Clean out the division? You don't do that by fighting Ugas who is a B minus fighter at best. Spence is just trying to avoid the real tough fights as long as possible.

Spence will beat Ugas and pick up another belt and get no respect for it. Ugas is basically a paper champion and everybody know it.

There will be no excuses for Spence after this fight, he will have three belts. That means he will have to start fighting the top guys in the division. That mean Crawford and Ennis. If not he needs to vacate the belts and move to a different division.

At this point Spence may as well start advertising his own line of camouflage running gear for sale.

"These clothes helped me run and hide from Crawford and they can help you too, buy now"

I tried every reason to justify why Spence should not be fighting Crawford and there is none for me. If he can fight Ugas then he can fight Crawford. He is not sure of himself with Crawford and it is showing.

in what world is bud entitled to equal pay with spence when his biggest accomplishment at the weight is beating porter who was retiring? in what world is bud entitled to equal pay when he sells 1/3 the tickets spence does? in what world is bud entitled to equal pay when hes won 1/3 the titles at the weight. only in his fanboys world.
bud demanding 50/50 is straight ducking and the real play that cant be justified. or justify all that for me with more than feelings and prove me wrong.

It is a duck in the world where one fighter’s supporters talk about the ticket sales and talk about their guy deserving the bigger share of the cake.

Fans only talk about that garbage when they know their boy is reluctant to take the fight.

So that’s your justification? Nothing matters but what I want? Why don’t you address the points made? Because you can’t.

You talking like a loser now. Fact is that Crawford is a champion and his skill level in on par or better than Earls. People wanna see that fight and not just because of Spence. Crawford deserves a 50/50 split or what he thinks he should get for the fight. If his monetary needs can be met then I am sure he will drop the demand for the split. You and everybody else knows that Crawford ain't ducking so that's just talking out the side of your neck. The ball was in Spence's court and if he really wanted that fight next, they could have sit down at the table and negotiated a satisfying deal for both fighters because there is enough money in the mix. Instead he chose to fight Ugas. Now you tell me, who's ducking who. Maybe Spence feels that if he adds Ugas's belt, that will give him a better bargaining chip in the talks with Crawford but that belt ain't guranteed.

Cut the BS of he's scared of Crawford. That narrative is getting old. This fight deal was negotiated for February right after Ugas beat Pac. WBA then voided it for that tournament for WBA. Spence gave us his plan and told Crawford he's collecting all the straps on his side of the street, and he's actually doing it. Once he beat Ugas, he coming for that WBO Crawford in late 2022.

Don't be stupid! Ugas is the WBA champ. This is not a tune up. This is why Spence told Crawford 2 years ago, he's going to get all the belts from his side of the street first, then come for his belt last. Spence is keeping his word!

You talk like a fanboy who doesn’t understand the business of prize fighting. Fact is, those things I pointed out apply to every fight big or small. If they don’t, show me when they don’t. Show me when Crawford has fought for 50/50 in his career. Show me, don’t just reply with your feelings. Tell me, when has Crawford offered 50/50 to an opponent. And if he hasn’t, why not? And if he has, why? Just to be a good guy?

Very disappointing it's not Crawford next.

So after Spence beats Ugas they will have to fight Eimantas Stanionis, whoever he is? Or drop one of the trinkets?
There is no hope for Crawford fight it seems, not in the near future. Haven't they learned anything from over marinating these fights.
The only explanation is that Spence team know they can't beat Bud and they just being bitches.

I hope Ugas boxes his ears off and he loses the belts.

Marinate the steak and cook it till it's well done. There's a reason why no one orders their steak well done.
