    Wins:

    1. 41 Wlad, 17 months inactive, home, life and death war, questionable late stoppage

    2. 39 Povetkin, home, TKO7 war

    3. 27.5 Whyte, neutral, KO7 war

    4. 30 Ruiz, untrained, neutral, enormous ring, 10-2 schooling

    5. 26 Parker, home, bodyguard ref, UD

    6. 39.5 Pulev, 13 months inactive, home, took him 9 rounds

    7. 37 Takam, short notice, home, questionable late stoppage

    8. 31 Breazeale, home, took him 6.5 rounds

    Losses:

    1. 30 Ruiz, short notice, away, dropped 4 times and quit in 7

    2. 35 Usyk, home, schooled 9-3 and battered late

AJ has never been close to being the underdog in any fight: the closest was Usyk, where the bookies gave AJ a 70% chance to win. AJ lost to a 10/90 underdog and a 30/70 underdog, both times in dominant fashion. AJ has been the A-side in every fight going back to his debut in the amateurs and has had home advantage in 7/10 fights. Wlad was 27.5 year old star amateur AJ’s forth championship opponent. Boxer-puncher AJ hasn't stopped an opponent in the first half of a fight for 8 fights and 5+ years, since Eric Molina's quitjob. 2/6 of AJ’s stoppages were questionable. Only 1 of AJ's opponents (Wlad) was a KO artist. 3/10 of AJ’s opponents were 39+. 2/10 of AJ’s opponents were inactive. 2/10 of AJ’s opponents were late substitutes. 8/10 of AJ’s opponents were below 6’5. The first time AJ was the away fighter, he got TKO'd by a stubby, light puncher. The first and only time AJ fought an elite southpaw and mover, he got schooled. 4/10 of AJ’s opponents were ex/current world champions (Usyk, Wlad, Ruiz, Parker) 2 reigning (Ruiz, Parker).

    Rubbish

Him jib jabbing around a 300 pound untrained potato was a masterclass.

Fury doing the same to better effect against game Wlad & Chisora was a terrible boring performance not worthy of praise.

Fury beating Wlad is worthy of praise.. It was also extremely boring to the point that half the people watching on TV and in the stands fell asleep.

Personally I've always thought AJ's record is really overrated.

He's got some good fighters under his belt, but the way Hearn goes on about it he's fighting a top 3 fighter every few months.

Overrated or not, I would like to see AJ vs Fury and AJ vs Wilder more than Usyk vs Fury and Usyk vs Wilder.

Which means, in my opinion, AJ draws more viewers and generates more revenue, and is more exciting to watch than other boxers.

Joshua certainly has the money power behind him but he hasn't been in a war since Ruiz splattered him. Ruiz 2, Pulev and Usyk were all safety-first performances against light punchers.

Ruiz has gone the distance 8 times in his last 13 fights (10 against journeymen) as an aggressive, front foot fighter and couldn't wobble the ghost of Liakhovich over 10 rounds. In his last fight he couldn't wobble a 40 year old, 18 months inactive, coming off a loss Arreola. He's one of the lightest punching heavyweights in the top 20 (similar power to Parker, who KO's no one).

All of this is true, and yet, let us be blunt that there is no doubt that he was the best at heavyweight while Usyk was at cruiser and Fury "retired," and that, since Wilder admitted he turned the money down, Joshua faced the best that he could get in front of him.

Joshua is a strong #3 in the division.

    It’s funny isn’t it,
Even when an obvious Joshua hater does a stupidly obvious hack job on his resume, it still shizzez all over Fury’s & Wilders!

    Ha ha

Lets be completely honest tho....joshua started boxing at 18. Many many years after most of that list began boxing. Andy ruiz had his first fight at 7. Povetkin and pulev we,re longtime decorated amatuers as was klitchko. Whyte had a 21-1 kickboxing background twice british champion and once european champion. Usyk decorated amatuer. All these guys had far more experience than joshua. The reality is joshuas actually punched above his weight taking that into account. Thats the reality of it. Hes beat a lot of them when they,ve been older but realistically starting at 18....they had to be older for him to beat them. Your not gonna get guys starting at 18 beating peak guys that have had literally hundreds of fights training from kids etc. If you do get it its extremely rare anyway.
