It's funny how some people here have built up PBF like he's the best fighter ever

Kostya Tszyu was #2 P4P when PBF moved up to light-welter. Had he made that fight, considering he had started as a super-feather, that would've been viewed as 1 of those fights. As would Cotto if Cotto beats Margarito. And there were others he could've chased and took a risk against. Mosley for one, before Cotto beat him.

He also beat John Ruiz which was a huge Risk no matter how you look at it.

Calzaghe is much older than PBF and stared boxing in 92 or 93 if I remember correctly. Him not winning a title until 97 has nothing to do with it.

This also depends on What Manny does in the next year:hi: if Manny steps up and has a big fight with good success he will rank under Manny:hi:

How long a fighter has been fighting has nothing to do with the era in question, is Calzaghe still fighting? yes, is Calzaghe still undefeated? yes is Calzaghe still a world champion?
Calzaghe is still active in this era meaning he will be rated according to this era.

How many times do i have to tell you that that fight wasn't possible?:patsch Zoo was with Showtime and PBF was with HBO they couldn't have fought period.:deal It's pointless to dicuss the fight between these two.

Once again you are refusing to give PBF credit for all the other risks he took in his career but dwelling on a Margo/Cotto fight basically overlooking his entire career and basing everything on his time at 147 a class that he has a linear championship in I might add.

By your logic if a fighter has his first fight today he's in the same era of a Roy Jones, Toney, Hopkins or Calzaghe.:patsch

I have no problem with your opinion on this post , because what is important is, that he(Floyd) is mentioned in the same breath as the greats legends before him.
wheather you'd think he would win or lose is not all that important , but that his name is mention along side some of the greatest name in boxing , how many fighter today are even compared to greats of boxing at his age.

That in itself is a major accomplishment .

Ahhhh the mice play whilst $$$$$'s away:lol:

Floyd should NEVER be mentioned amongst the ATG's at any weight class EXCEPT 130. He never beat the best opp in any other class and ducked avoided the true test's. And left 2 out 4 Champs at 130 INCLUDING a PRIME UNDEFEATED Casamayor:yep

talk the talk, never walked the walk, gee thats 2 bad:-(

Now he's retired? A COMPLETE ****ING SHAM in the face of the best division in the sport.

Its all good though, Cotto is repping a real CHAMPIONS Path and this week vs margarito is everything Floyd's not about:admin

**** PBF and all yall pom, pom, groupie, short bus riding, TS's in drag, slobbering over the HYPE and dream that is Floyd Mayweather Jr.

As for title's in weight classes?:rofl Put in in perspective with the circumstances of the day. Guy's like SRR and SRL would shatter Floyd's numbers and BE MORE REAL given the same parameters.

Keep huffin and puffin ladies:hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi:
