As a new year is upon us, it is time to celebrate this past years, its competitors and its champions, while regaining strength for the next battle for the crown. First and foremost, I want to thank Drinquor for all the hard work he put in last year. Trust me when I tell you, it takes a lot of commitment and discipline to keep this league updated constantly. The league gives him a round of applause for getting us to where we are today. Thank you Drinquor. And a huge thank you to Pinoy, for once again being the leagues caretaker. This is the hardest time of year to be in charge (people expect to see the all time rankings, the p4p lists, the final updates, ect) and he swooped in to help Drinquor get us across the finish line. And he already has the historical p4p rankings up, which is, insane. Amazing work gentlemen. We as a league sincerely cant thank you enough. ........................................................................................... Now, on to the results. ............................................................................................ Big congratulations to the man left standing with the crown after all the dust settled. Well done Pincai! You have earned a position that a miniscule amount of our competitors ever achieve. A thank you to all the years competitors for being the lifeblood of the league. Without you there is no league. Thank you to everyone who contributes to the schedule. Thank you to Nelly for always, and I mean always, keeping the wbk running alive and well, that is no small feat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to issue an official and sad farewell to the retiring to two of our all time greats. - While never having officially won a championship, Pimp C is as good a fight predictor as we've ever had. He was (and still may be) the leagues all time leader. His historical p4p ranking is 10th, and he is one of the leagues longest competing members. It really is a monumental retiring. Thanks for all the years Pimp. Amazing eye for boxing man. Cheers. - DanielDimov is also leaving us this year. Dimov quickly rose through the ranks and climbed into the mid 20's of our all time rankings (which include over 400 members) and on top of that is one of the few to actually claim the throne himself in 2020. His presence and competitiveness in the league will be missed. Thanks for the years Dimov. Losing these two is a big blow to the league, as both were not just core members but quality, high tier competitors. Thanks again guys. Cheers to you. ----------------------------------------------------------------
Once again, well done to the new reigning champion. I will start adding to this thread in preparation for the 2022 year for anyone interested in competing for the title for the new year.
Also want to say congrats to David B for not just being the number one p4p of all time... and flexing his dominance in the league and possibly forging a legacy that will never be matched within our ranks, but also, on (a late) congratulations for 10 years as a league competitor. In 10 years, he has never once placed outside of the top 10. And has only placed outside the top 5 half the time (5 times). Has been rookie of the year, KO King, the number one challenger twice, and league champion. Unreal. Salute to you David.
