    Wlad was really going all out trying to kill Brewster. He was also pushing him around the ring and getting very physical Foreman style.

    Manny wanted him to fight that way. Manny was extremely impressed with George because he was the only big man that really knew how to fight big. Not jab and grab but just standing his ground and bullying the other guy, trading, pushing and outmuscling because you're the bigger mofo in there. Sadly Wlad didn't have the toughness to match his size.

    Brewster’s durability and late power were unreal on that night. There’s a very short list of guys who couldn’ve done what he did when he beat Wlad.

    Foreman did not face many punchers aside for Lyle who nearly knocked him out. You have to treat a puncher with respect,especially a very durable one.

    Brewster was the Shavers figure of that era.

    Look at the testimonies, from the guys on the receiving end.

    Brewster was very beatable, but Wlad literally couldn't have picked a worse opponent, at that stage of his career.

    Was very early on in their collaboration. Pacing can take time to learn. Wlad used to use a lot of lateral movement then after this he became more stationary and began to just clinch. To burn less energy.

    It was their very first fight together. Hard to do miracles in that amount of time and i dare say Steward got a real crash course on what he had to do moving forward.

    Lamon was tough, very tough and knew the game.

    Wlad just got reminded of his shortcomings for the better, what is three painful lessons compared to immortality?

    One fight later Kali Meehan did better against Brewster than Klitschko did.

    Wladimir Klitschko had Lamon ahead of Peter, Ray Mercer. He said it in an interview many years ago.
