I know you're trolling and have Alt accounts.

You know who Joshua beat and most of those wins are better than any win Wilder has.

Ortiz like Wilder has feasted on bums there whole careers. If Ortiz faced any of the top 10 he gets clipped easliy.

    Joshua battered Martin in 2....

Your guy got dropped twice... with a jab FFS..

    Clown shoes...

No. To be honest, it may have saved it. As has been noted, Ortiz looks to be about 100 years old and was still good enough to come up with the win against a "former titlist," so it adds a but to a pair of wins that I never thought much of.

Are people really saying this Martin was the best version of Martin ? LOL at Safins mental coping. The man would've been making excuses even if Ortiz ended up losing. It is some of the most idiotic garbage I've ever heard. Charles Martin sucks and is one of the worst heavyweight champions of all time

There is no justified reason for Ortiz being so highly rated and Wilder geting so much credit for his wins over Ortiz after Ortiz beat Jennings.

I think the result of the fight was more of a testament to how bad Charles Martin is. He somehow managed to get iced by a guy who gets wobbled by probing jabs and can’t bend his knees 3 inches.

Tend to agree, but as many have posted above, Ortiz is noticeably past it :drooling:

The main outcome is that both Ortiz and Martin have had overrated careers. Solid, good HWs, nothing more or less.

Ortiz didn't do himself any discredit. His legs are gone and he's always been someone who uses his whole body to generate power, still got the KO. That's a validation that his power was real.

He got knocked down, that happens in HW fights. Martin is an established puncher and he's famously delusional about his place in the division so he was there to win and prove a lot of people wrong.

But he was up and functional after. The reaction time is gone, but his style has always been about compensating for not having twitchy reflexes and that (along with steroids and whatever it is that makes Cubans look 40 when they're 20 and look 41 when they're 80) is a reason why he's still kicking around as a gatekeeper.

I have no alt accounts. I've been here for years. This is my account. I have my opinions. I could give a **** if anyone agrees with them.

    Ortiz isn't "my guy."

I congratulate Ortiz on his win. If anyone thinks Ortiz destroying Martin hurts Wilder's resume, they're idiots. This thread is a joke.

The trollers on this board are out in force the first weekend of the year.

It's like some here have zero interest in anything at all related to boxing except bashing one fighter.

Luis Ortiz destroyed Charles Martin in a title eliminator last night. He's now in the front of the line to fight the Usyk-Joshua winner for three belts ... there are hundreds of heavyweights who wish they were in that position.

And some of you act like a guy Wilder destroyed twice qualifying for a third title shot "ruins" Wilder's resume? What?

    Morons.

He didn't read it. He just thought it was probably a post about you fanboying Luis "life and death with Charles Martin" Ortiz as usual

Life and death? o_OOut of everyone on that card last night, Ortiz probably took the least amount of punishment of everyone not named Sanchez.

Life and death ... some of you guys are REALLY soft.
