I'm look forward to seeing Okolie fight these days. Doubt we will get a decent opponent but Okolie is heavily overlooked when we talk about the best in Britain.
I was hoping to see Okolie fight Briedis for a unification but considering how soon it is I will be surprised if its him. If not hopefully it will be Dorticos who be able to test Okolie's chin. However I think it will most likely be Cieslak who is decent but not Briedis and Dorticos quality (they previously agreed to fight before Cieslak pulled out).
With Okolie since he won his best it always seems to be a case of 'the next one will be a huge unification', but he has so far fought a joke of a mandatory (no unification secured hence it was enforced) and now he will again have a pointless fight with no unification or big fight in sight... Frustrating, as Eddie Hearn has promised a lot and talked a good game after every fight especially but so far delivered nothing meaningful. I suppose if nothing happens by the end of the year he will probably just move up as I know making weight is not easy for him at all he's a giant cruiserweight 6'6 with a massive frame so really a heavyweight who boils himself down so he can enjoy some physical advantage over opponents.
The Conlan Wood fight is being announced for March. I would be tempted to go depending on the undercard
