Presumably an eliminator - and hopefully so, as they have this slotted for 12 rounds. :eyebrow2:

Jacobs is rated WBA #10, IBF #8, WBC #3 and WBO #2 at super middle. Ryder is WBO #14, WBC #11, and WBA #3.

Ryder wins a homecooked decision in England. Jacobs gets jobbed.

Just Ryder's luck after the Smith robbery. Jacobs is an excellent all round technician and Ryder's work rate and courage will not be enough.

Jacobs is definitely not an all around technician and he’s too passive. He hasn’t looked good since GGG and he fought too safe against Canelo to avoid being KO’d. You probably should go back and watch Arias, Sulecki, Derevyanchenko, Canelo, and especially Gabe Rosado. He can and will get roughed up. I got Ryder SD

Jacobs hasn’t fought since his close 2020 fight against Rosado - activity is in Ryder’s favour.

The ring rust along with the fight taking place in the UK makes me think Ryder will take a decision.

Im surprised to see more people picking Ryder.

His major performance is losing a close decision to Smith.

Jacobs lost razor close decisions to GGG and Canelo and has beaten world class fighters.

Actually, Ryder lost via corrupt scorecards in a match that he should have won by a wide decision, in a match that most objective viewers consider one of the worst robberies of 2019. Daniel Jacobs is coming off of being taken to slick school from beginning to end by Gabe Rosado, in a match he should've lost. That's after arguably getting gifts against Derevyanchenko and Sulecki, and looking like hell for a few rounds against Chavez Jr. Not sure why you find it so hard to process.

Hes fought a couple of club fighters since the Smith fight. Im not sure how much that will help.

    Whats Ryders actual biggest win?

    Jamie Cox? Patrick Nielsen?

    Also "gift" against Sulecki? Seriously?

I'll repeat.... Callum ****ing Smith, Because if you're going to keep up this delusional charade, you're only painting yourself into a corner and making yourself look like an ass and a hater. No one thinks Smith won that match.

...then the Rocky Fielding wi... he was robbed of, then his draw against Saunders... that he was robbed of. Then Sirotkin, Akkawy, Cox and Nielsen.

Now, onto what actually matters. John Ryder has been getting better and better with every performance, whereas Jacobs has been getting worse and worse. Do the math and quite being obtuse.

Fine if you're saying Smith is Ryders biggest win and he also beat Fielding and drew with Saunders, can I say GGG is Jacobs biggest win? I'll throw in Canelo too.

Since actual decisions dont seem to count?

Was he robbed against Nick Blackwell and John Arnfield too?

Jacobs has beaten Sulecki, Quinlan, Derevyenchenko, Mora, Truax.

You're basing Ryder on one fight (The Smith one), and basing Jacobs on one fight (The Rosado one).

Best of luck with that. I know where my actual money is going.

You haven't watched many John Ryder matches have you? Since you brought it up, YES, he was robbed against Jack Arnfield as well. Even the commentators were shocked by the decision.

No, you can't say Jacobs best win was GGG, because very few people thought he beat GGG. Canelo? I was rooting for Jacobs, but the best he could hope for is a draw there. Whereas it's pretty much unanimous across the boxing world thought Ryder handily beat both Smith and Fielding. A degree of consensus is needed. Since you clearly have never seen either, I'd suggest you go watch them.

Also, what are you implying, are you one of these dipshits that don't believe in robberies or gifts? You are aware, some guys tend to be hardlck and get ****ed, because they're not names. Then guys like Jacobs get all then breaks. The only match he clearly won in teh last 5 years was against Arias and Chavez Jr.

Where the **** did I say that's why I was picking John Ryder? I'm picking him, based on styles. Jacobs doesn't deal well with intelligent pressure or body work, also Ryder is a southpaw killer, and Jacobs, while a switch hitter, simply cannot resist fighting as a southpaw, especially when being backed up. Also, Ryder's output, inside fighting and power is superior to Derevyanchenko, who was having a ton of succes 4 years ago on a far less shot version. Then when you add in their recent form, Ryder is the rising tide, Jacobs, a receding one.

So please, I implore you, put as much money as possible on Jacobs, all of it in fact.
