Good question. There were posters that liked him. He hasn't boxed for more than 3 years, so probably his career is over, I wonder why.
Fun to watch but awful technique coupled with being 'just' 6'2 meant that any decent heavyweight would destroy him. I'm guessing he got his ass kicked in sparring and called it a day. Looked like a bit of a juicer as well.
the same thing what happened to Artem Chebotarev, Egor Mekhonstev, Andrey Afonin, Vyacheslav Barsukov, and many more. They have a few pro fights, but then the lack of money and opportunities for pro boxing in Russia and with foreign promoters forces them to get a different job to pay the bills. It's certainly not from lack of talent
