I thought you were going to show me a Hublot or something else fancy. I don't like Hublot myself it's what rappers and sports stars wear. It looks decent not to my taste but each to there own. It's good to have a few bits that you can beat up or wear whilst travelling. I remember my old man going to Dubai on a business trip 20 years ago and took a watch roll with a couple of Rolex and Omega's it got stolen at the airport. I always travel minimalist with nothing fancy so I'm not a target for some smack head to stab me up because I'm wearing a nice watch.
Years ago a (late) cousin of mine was working in Saudi and brought back a Rolex for me. I accidentally left it on top of my car, drove away and lost the damn thing. Munguia is ripe for a GGG ko....he takes too many shots which is a no no vs even an old GGG. Would be a good fight to watch, though.
I just found out that through constant refreshing because it kept crashing, I somehow bought 2 of them. Awesome! I'll either gift the second one or resell it for an easy profit. It's a fun watch. Nothing serious. And it will look great with a white polo and gray khakis (I won't abandon khakis — ever). I've been trying to hunt down a 2021 Rolex Explorer in stainless steel, but it's impossible and I won't pay above retail on secondary sites. I've called every luxury watch boutique in the the Northeast and I've been laughed off the phone more than once. They won't even take upfront payment for a future stock.
Rolex prices have been a joke for the last 5-10 years or so. The thing is while you have bellends paying well over retail and the supply being limited it just adds to the problem. I've got a Milgauss(Black dial) and a Deepsea (Gradient Blue dial) I don't wear the Deepsea that much as it's a bit too thick and I've got three vintage that were my fathers a Daytona (white dial) GMT (black dial) and a Submariner (Black dial) there 80's and 90's models. I don't really wear them either it cost me a fair bit to service tham after my father died. I have them on winders though just to keep the lubricant fresh. Many places now will have long waiting lists. If youv'e bought watches and spent a few quid then there the best bet as they can bump you up. if your going in cold though they will literally laugh in your face and then pull your pants down.
Ggg is lazy now. Looked bad against derv. If Mungia has an iron chin I think he beats ggg. All ggg cares about is canelo. He ruined his legacy after the canelo fights going after bums. He's even afraid of Andrade
I've got an Explorer that I bought in 2019 that I never wear and may consider selling if you're interested... Not sure if it's the same as the 2021 model though
Thank you for the offer, but I will pass. The 2021 has a new movement and improved bracelet and clasp and overall improved refinement, build quality, and sturdiness. Plus I'm super anal and my used purchases are limited to vintage cast iron cookware, water pitchers (lol), and other silly things. You'll have zero trouble selling yours for more than you paid, though.

Agree. The last 10 years I've just seen them shoot up a silly amount. I just don't think there worth anywhere near that. they're well made for sure a lot of it's automated at this point. If I was in the market to spend that much which I'm not these days. then I would rather have something made by hand. I bought my Milgauss for £4500 and even there over £10k now for exactly the same watch.
All the watches I have owned were bought cash with bonus money to celebrate some milestone but nowadays people are buying them on 0% credit which is helping to drive prices up. The milgauss is a nice watch, always fancied one but never pulled the trigger... I'd never spend 10k plus on a steel sub, I'd just save a few more months and get an AP Royal Oak
Same here. I only treated myself if I had a bumper month when I was earning a lot more money. Yeah it's the same with cars with most getting them on finance. I like the Milgauss it's my favorite one that gets the most wrist time it's more understated than the rest of the range. Royal Oak's are a level up from a Rolex nice watch. worth saving up for.
Golovkin"s age makes this a competitive fight and also somewhat of a mystery as to what GGG will look like. I don't think the fight will happen though as I think Gennady is looking for easier fights or the big payday with Canelo.
