To do that he'd need to be ranked by any sanctioning body. He made a mistake and signed with a promoter who doesn't have the money to get him any meaningful fights and also doesn't have the kind of connections that get you a high ranking without facing anyone relevant...

The sanctioning bodies should rank him. Especially the IBF. Then they would have someone in their top 15 who is willing to face Hrgovic.

    Who is his promoter?

Reminds me of Jalolov. He signed with DiBella. Big mistake. Dibella cant get tv dates.

Kossobutskiy is another guy no hype job prospect will face.

He signed with an Aussie dude, Mike Altamura, along with another couple of well known Kazakhs. I think Dogboe was in the stable. Big coup at the time.

But the deal went south because I think the story was Mike's Chinese financiers ended up being some sort of scammers. All the deals and promises fell apart.

Mike now works for MTK/Parabellum as some sort of talent scout/consultant but I'm fairly certain Ivan divided his loyalties between a local Kazakh promoter and some local level Florida based mob.

I reckon the best years of Dychko will come and go because of managerial issues and probably staying amatuer to long.

He fought last may against Denis Bakhtov and in December against Alexander Ustinov.

The guy signed with Universum of all places. They tried to help him with a co-promotional deal with Warren, but that didn't work out. The guy is skilled and a really big puncher. He's ranked by the WBA, but that's the WBA, they have Dubois ranked at nr. 1...

That would be another damn waste of talent and he really suits the pros.

He was actually momentarily ranked by the WBA as I remember it. The promoter who organized his last two Kazakstan fights is tied in the Matchroom in some way, I think.

Yeah, but being a non-british HW at Matchroom is almost as bad...
No idea what Warren is thinking, Joyce isn't getting any younger and he can't bet all on Dubois still becoming world class, because frankly Adeleye sucks.

dychko is a serious talent. but his manager is obviouly crap......still trying the old formula: get you prospect name guys that are completly shot. back in the day (before the internet), that actully worked. these days you cant pull that kind of crap and still expect people to hype you.

Sooooooooo depressing, remember when he tried to get the AJ fight instead of Ruiz? Probably the last time I thought about him.

Think his promotional outfit was in Australia, but he was operating here, which was weird. All weird.

Anyway, he's gone from one to watch to one to who cares? 2 rounds in 30 months man.
