You seem to be deflecting the issue a bit here.

Go back to the original question please.

Maybe he needs a link to the Dempsey footage to compare? I'm waiting too.

I think Spinks may pose more of a threat to Dempsey than some may give him credit for.

    A. At 6'3", 200 Lbs, and with modern training regimens, Spinks was a larger and better trained athlete than most, or any fighter Dempsey faced.

    B. He was more active for most of his career than most of Dempsey's better opponents, including Dempsey himself during his championship years.

    C. He was a very well polished boxer who had better skills than most of Dempsey's best challengers, except for perhaps Tunney who beat him..

Dempsey by mid round KO. Spinks could'nt match Jack's ferocity or power and Jack was stronger as well. Dempsey would be on top of Spinks right from the opening bell and wouldn't let up until Mike was prostrate on the canvas. Spinks had the style to give a boxer fits but a bore ahead slugger like Dempsey would have a field day with him. Jack in 5.

How about Spinks freezes, as he did against Tyson ,and gets his head torn off? Spinks beat a ringworn Holmes an also ran in Tangstad and a washed up Cooney, yet he beats Dempsey?Get real.
