Biggest slaughter that an inferior heavyweight would inflict on an ATG?

    What is the most comprehensive, one-sided match you could construct where an *inferior* heavyweight destroys an ATG heavyweight?

    Note that this isn't an invitation for you to nominate a heavyweight ATG you consider overrated head to head. For example: "Tua destroys blown-up supermiddleweight Marciano, who sucks head to head as a heavyweight" is not a credited response. Nor is this thread about inferior fighters landing lucky punches. The goal is to find a not-so-great heavyweight who would be able to deliver a comprehensive destruction of the best heavyweight you can come up with.

    Post your best matchup, along with an explanation for why the generally inferior heavyweight dominates.

    Donovan Ruddock might kill Floyd Patterson with the smash. And I do think Patterson was a legit great, somewhere in the lower end of top 15 heavies.

    It's really hard not to pull out large, mediocre punchers who might beat Floyd Patterson as the answer for this thread.

    Tommy Morrison destroys Joe Louis.

    Slow starter and plodder and can be hit and does not have the best chin. Tommy could get a first round KO.

    Morrison shocks the world with a left hook that gets there first.

    In a similar vein to Patterson, you could probably see Ken Norton getting bombed out early by some supposedly inferior Heavyweights such as Tua, Wilder, Ruddock etc. Ken was always vulnerable against the really heavy artillery.

    Morrison wouldn't see a third round against such a deadly puncher.

    Louis wasn't a slow starter in the slightest. The number of fighters he KOed in the first should clue you in there.

    Do you consider Joe Louis a formidable fighter head to head, though? If not, this would just be a variant of claiming that somebody is overrated and would therefore be destroyed.
