Well as AB isn’t fighting Bivol anytime soon, I like this fight.

He is the rightful favourite, Smith did outgrow 168 and is decent. Basic but decent.

Smith sucks, he is food for any half-decent 175lber out there

Smith hits hard enough to cause problems, and AB has become unbeatable in some people’s opinion around here recently, I wasn’t impressed with him in either of his last two fights if I am honest.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Smith have some success if he adapts and uses his physical advantages, he was always tight at the weight at 168 and probably shouldn’t have ever really fought in that division. Probably Beterbiev but I wouldn’t be shocked if he lost.

Beterbiev is due to get old soon. That said, I reckon he stops Smith in 8 rounds. Unless Callum shows drastic improvement.

Smith is better than Marcus 'Headbutt' Browne, who's only tactic was to cause a cut on Beterbiev's head and cross his fingers for the doctor to call it off.

Smith is better defensively than fellow brit Callum Johnson and probably hits nearly as hard. Beterbiev can be hurt and Smith could be the man to pull off a knockout. Beterbiev has slowed a bit, he's not the same fighter as a few years back.

Why are we judging Smith on the Ryder and Canelo performances? Beterbiev is a completely different style of fighter.

It’s not overrating AB, people just know that Smith has no idea what to do against people who can cut off the ring and punch

If John Ryder can tee-off on him a hard punching LHW would badly hurt him.

I was pretty high on Smith a couple of years ago but his career stalled & then he gave us that performance against Canelo (a guy he dwarfed) which was embarrassing and pathetic.. i'd love Beterbiev to knock him out

Beterbiev does him in 10 rounds or less. Smith isn't bad but he's not looked that convincing recently. Beterbiev hit's a lot harder than anyone he's fought before and I think would stop him the second half of the fight.

Disputing silly statements is not "feeling triggered".

The better question is why you are triggered at the thought of Beterbiev knocking out Plank Smith?

Are HW and the weight Estrada/Choclatito/Rungvusai are at the only ones where the guys who should fight each other, actually get in the ring with one another?

130-175 are all shitshows in terms of matchmaking.
