Hearn: Can You Imagine What Benn Would Do To Khan? It'd Be Over in Two Rounds!

Hearn stated Hooker and Guerrero are potential opponents.

What I like of Benn progression so far is that he keeps stepping up in quality of opponent.

I mentioned before that I thought Hooker could be a potential opponent and it would be a good fight. Hooker in my opinion is an improved opponent over a past his prime Algieri.

Guerrero though is not an improvement or even as good as Algieri ( he's is even older and was never a WC). Guerrero would be a dissapointing opponent.

 

Even this version of Khan would be the best fighter Benn has ever faced. That says everything you need to know about Eddie's plan for young Connor.

 

Guerrero would be an awful choice,that's taking 3 steps backwards.would have no issue with hooker though and if he dealt with him comfortably then it really is time to step up to the dangerous guys in the division.

 

Hooker would be fine and probably the first 50/50 fight Benn has been in with. I think i'd actually favour Hooker possibly although he's lost twice by KO recently so now might be a good time to face him. I expect it to be another faded fighter. Gurrero would fit the bill or even the Khan Brook winner if they fancy a few extra quid. To be honest if the winner looks decent there is a little merit in that fight but it's obvious the plan is to match Been with everything in his favor before trying to win some kind of belt.

 

I don't think he'll fight Hooker. I think Hooker beats Benn tbh. If Benn beats him I would give him a huge amount of credit. Hooker is small for 147 but a big step up nonetheless.

Guerrero would be a step backwards though in my opinion.

 

I would take benn to stop hooker quite confidently.its a good fight though coz people would fancy hooker to end the hype train.

 

Bossed and stopped nearly a year ago by the guy that Benn is no doubt petrified of, hasn't fought since then and suffered an injury. If Benn didn't do what Ortiz Jnr did or better he'd get picked apart by people and I think it would affect him mentally, he wouldn't be able to take anymore backards, sideways or easy steps after a fight with Hooker either, once you start going in with names that aren't totally done, in the eyes of the public, you can't start messing about going after corpses again. Benn looks good against non punchers, when he gets chinned then we'll see what he's about, I personally am putting up with all of the hype purely for that moment.

Hooker and Guerro are names but damaged goods. How about he faces Kelly, Essuman, Kongo, Jenkins, Taylor or McKinson? I would like to see what these lads would do to Benn. Him and his old man's vomit inducing performances in the post fight interviews have made the pair thoroughly unlikeable.

Not sure I could ever dislike Nigel but Conors not doing himself any favours in the long run with his chat, even if he is up to the eyeballs in adrenaline post fight.

I think its most likely going to be Guerrero next, can just see it all now, the build up where Adam mentions that he fought Mayweather 400 times a day, the air from Guerrero of a man who's there for the cheque, the sad stoppage, the screaming and shouting afterwards, the call out of 2014's most deadly.

 

Khan says he's done after this fight with brook win or lose.

I believe him to be fair. Brook was always going to be his last fight win or lose. If he still felt he had anything left he’d have Kell waiting for longer.

Also, the talk of Benn vs Guerrero. What a ridiculously pointless fight that would be.

They won’t be able to afford to pay Khan the money he’d want to face Connor but if it was to happen it plays right into Hearn’s hands of getting Connor Benn recognition with the people in the country who enjoy a lot of sport and like drinking alcohol and sniffing Charlie in town on Saturday nights.

I like the young lad, think he’s got bags of talent, works hard and his fights are great to watch. But he’s nowhere near ready for the top level yet. A fight against Khan or Brook followed by a step up against Avanesyan and then see where he’s at.

 

Lol you say everyone beats Benn. You hate Benn with a passion just cause he says a few things about your precious Amir. Man you Khan fans must be the most sensitive fanbase ever!
