All Geffard is doing is covering up

 

Smith getting frustrated bit being able to punch through the guard...he is mentally as a fighter a one trick pony he wants a KO

 

smith biting the bait. He shouldnt. He only needs to jab for 7 rounds and easy win. Disgusting for us the fans, but that's the right strategy for him. He should never do what he did, to waste a lot of energy punching a closed guard for nothing.

Jab, jab, easy point. Rinse and repeat. Minimum energy wasted.

 

How the **** did this guy win a world title?

 

The styles remind me of the Mancini-Bramble fights where Bramble used the high guard and punched up the middle punches bounced off his gloves and arms due to Mancinis wide punched and wide torso

Right now it looks like Geffrard is using the same strategy

 

Window of opportunity is almost closed for Geffrard.

 

Geffard may have lost his will to even fight or survive that round.

Excellent round for Smith. Geffrard not long for this fight if he does trade punches when being attacked.

 

Round 5 goes to smith clearly. Workrate was too much to overcome. But the quality of the work still goes to geffrard, few and far between in this round tho.
