Was Geffard asking to quit right before commercial?

This is all over but the credits.

69% of power punches landed for JS so far when they showed the stats at the end of the 6th. Plenty of scoring punches not getting blocked

that’s great. Geffrard has still won 0 rounds. This fight isn’t close.

Geffrard complaining about shoulder. He let Joe slug it all night. What was he expecting

A grasp of nuance is called for here. A shot is just either 100% blocked or else 100% scored, no middle ground for you? I literally said in the paragraph you quoted that Smith's individual punches are being half-blocked, which means they're half-not. Did that just fly past you or are you in willful denial of the fact that such a thing can be true?

the rounds that i scored were the 2nd and 3rd. So the stat is irrelevant because even i had Joe winning by miles from round 4 onwards.

So Geffard is hoping Smith punches himself to exhaustion?

I completely disagree. Smith started boxing and moving backwards after he had no success forcing his shots through Geffrards guard. I'm 99% sure Smith started boxing and moving backwards so Greffrard would actually throw punches and open up. And Greffrard nearly got knocked out shortly after.

A partially blocked shot surely has to be worth more than a shot not being throw at all?

Geffrard making no attempt to win this fight. Doubt he will be invited back to TV any time soon.
