Well so long as the Tyson Fury indoctrination runs rampant, there has to be resistance. I'm just fighting the good fight. Down with the false prophet.
Come on, this is pretty silly now. You may not like Fury but that post is absurd. Anyone mildly objective can see that Fury has achieved some really impressive things. The thing is I’m not convinced you’re even on the wind up - I used to think you were.
Fury wasn't ranked in the WBC, and he got a WBC title shot. You shouldn't be supporting actions like that, or you're part of the problem that is crippling the boxing industry.
What was the reason? Was it a voluntary defence by Wilder? In which case isn’t he allowed to choose an opponent?
"isnt wilder allowed to choose" Yeah how about one from the 15 ranked WBC contenders? How about the number 1? The guy offering you 9 Million. Fury got gifted a shot, and its somehow hailed as a victory or an accomplishment by the likes of Jurgen and others. Fury did nothing to earn it. I'd like to see some condemnation. This is what I mean in terms of lack of criticism. Whyte gets shot to death, Fury and Wilder go unscathed... with BS manoeuvres like this and instead get PRAISED!! Wilder... the long reigning undefeated!... well look why.. cherry picking the lowest level guys. Fury the undefeated!!! No surprise. look at the pudding in his CV.
It doesn’t matter really whether he ‘earned’ it or not. Wilder thought he was going to be a soft touch and Fury is a big name. It’s clear why Wilder would choose that.
And thats my point, Wilder going for the soft touches. Ducking Dillian Whyte, I sense that you cant admit that Wilder ducking Whyte there. Whyte didnt go for soft touches when he fought Parker, Rivas, Povetkin, Helenius, Chisora he knew exactly what he was going after.
I admire your admiration for a fighter and we all have our favourites for different reasons but your doing yourself no favours with real boxing fans. The eddie hearn casuals of this world may be conned into thinking whytes resume if amazing as you keep stating but real boxing fans know that chisora , helenius, rivas are shyte not just bad but truly terrible. Parker at the time under his ex coach was seriously limited. The version now under Andy Lee would beat whyte quite handily. Povetkin old as the hills , **** to bits for the rematch due to covid, he even looked shocking I the first fight he just landed a lucky punch.
Are there any people in this forum who believe that the fight between Tyson Fury and Dillian White will be arranged ?
The only way it happens imo is if whyte sits down and negotiates with everything on top ranks terms.there's absolutely no chance arum allows this fight to go on dazn or any other platform, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
His love for Whyte is admirable and I am always open to healthy debate but there comes a point where banging your head against a brick wall is a better way to spend your time. 80/20 is what the WBC have ruled. Given the fact Fury made a truck load of money in his trilogy with Wilder (that did pretty well on US PPV where it is triple the price of a UK PPV), and came out of it unbeaten with his star burning brighter than it ever has - I think it is reasonable split. Discussing Fury's sales or purses etc, pre Wilder or in his tune up after the first fight when he joined TR and fought a few bums is no longer relevant - he is a huge star now and his fanbase has exploded. Whyte would do well to remember that he is snivelling at an awful lot of money here. Probably £5mil. And he gets to fight for the title. Beat Fury as empathically as he beat Wilder and he gets the lions share in future fights. Or price yourself out again, find an old name Hearn can convince the casuals on and wait for a vacant belt. Seems a no brainer to me personally.
Klitschko with the USB stick, treating Joshua like his son for the entire build-up. That was the most entertaining Klitschko, but it didn't mean much for how gassed he was after the half-way point of every round past about 4.
I have to admit I am starting to doubt. Especially in light of Frank Warren's announcement that Tyson Fury will be boxing at the end of March.
Horrendously, I read somwhere that Arum had uttered Manuel Charr's name. I really don't have a great deal of interest in Fury v Whyte, in terms of a contest. But it would be good because of how much it is being built up. Helenius would be worthy of harsh criticism, although if they get him for March date, it's better than no fights at all for months, I suppose. Charr though. ****ing 'ell.
