Yeah, that spot was the one that gave me pause.

top 3 are pretty obvious each of them have something the other is lacking in.

Greb- Speedy, Very Durable, Dirty Fighter

Hagler- CHIN, huge heart, Switch hitter

Monzon- Powerful, Patient, Probably most technical

 

Hagler would be the last man standing.
Monzon would be the winner up, only losing to Hagler in the Championship bout.
Monzon stops late Or get a home decision against Nunn if the fights in Argentina, Monzon beats the hell out of Triple G. Who's extremely overrated.
Hagler probably would blitz Nunn, stop him before he gets going as he did against Hearns. Nunn has better legs, moves better but I believe if Hagler pressures he catches and stops him. Hagler beats the hell out of overrated Triple G.
Greb and Ketchel? Not enough film on the men to have a real opnion on them.
Only what's written by sports writers of the era.
Some place a lot of weight on the glowing reports written by long dead writers.
I don't. As in law enforcement a story can be swayed easily by the writer to suit a opnion.
Film Don't lie or exaggerate , that's why most law enforcement agencies today have body camera's.

Film of Ketchel does not flatter him. He was a rough tough dude that could hit like a truck but he forgot to put points in the skills columns when he drew up his character.

 

I think Golovkin could give anybody at his weight problems. His resume doesn't justify a higher spot though, with the best will in the world. And I can think of arguments as to why Hagler, Monzon and Greb would give him problems H2H as well, beyond resume. Mind you Nunn would not be a walk in the park either.
