Well life is often ruled by narratives, and for some reason the majority of fans on line are backing Fury's side on the 80-20 split.

When even boxingnews24 who have written hatchet job after hatchet job on Whyte, publish an article saying 80-20 is ridiculous, then I would suggest some posters should reconsider what they are trying to achieve by vocally backing the WBC screwing over a long time ranked contender.

Quite frankly if we get Charr, it will only be because the fans will have empowered Arum to do so. That he even dares to mention Charr shows what a circus this has become and Arum is the ring master. But who are the clowns?

20 percent is likely to be a lot of money.
Arum offered Whyte more than that, has publicly invited him to negotiate.
Whyte's a greedy diva, and it is arguably fans who have enabled him to become so.

If it was up to me, I'd cap Whyte's pay at about £500,000 and withhold payment of the full amount if he fails to put up a competitive effort ... .. And I would force Fury to donate his own purse to charity.

    They are all spoilt brats.

**** Whyte and his shitty demands.
    **** Arum for mentioning Charr.
**** Fury if he dares fight that bum.

Charr has possibly been mentioned so that when they announce Helenius, the outcry is limited.

Actually maybe Fury will fight them both on the same night. Somebody should suggest that.

    If I was a bookie, I'd start him as a 100/1 underdog.

I genuinely thought Charr had retired before this broke yesterday.

I'd like to think its just brinkmanship but I'm getting flashbacks to late 2020. When Fury was linked with a whole bunch of underwhelming names he was supposed to be fighting in December, none of which materialised.

So in that sense Fury V Charr is more appealing than Fury V nobody I suppose.

    Now you're talking.

Fury V Charr and Helenius tag team. Take my money.

I agree, in a tables, ladders and chairs match.

Zzz. I'd rather he not fight than face Charr.

Would that be the odd for a 12th round stoppage? :)

Fury vs charr or helenius ffs , honestly I'm a Fury fan but either of them is horrendous, the heavyweight division is becoming really boring at the moment,

Fury seems to just want really easy fights until he fights usyk

Whyte seems to have lost his bottle again

Wilder is probably going to retire

    Ruiz has nothing lined up

    Joyce has nothing lined up

Joshua vs usyk seems to be stalling

Parker just beat a washed up chisora and now what???

    It's all becoming very zzzzzzzz

At least the lower divisions the champions want to fight each other and unify etc

Couldn't have put it better myself.

All heavyweights seem to do these days is play a long drawn out waiting game to get a decent payday and are scared of fighting anyone with a pulse in between

Fury isn't about the payday though, he'll give it to the homeless, you can't take it with you, money don't mean nothing
