This, the only difference is Ortiz is overrated as hell to boost Wilder’s resume

I don't think so. I think Wilder ruined Ortiz punch resistance.

People picking Ortiz over Povetkin is madness or agenda filled.

Really? As far as I remember, Povetkin was dominating the poll when someone made a thread asking who’d win between the two.

Povetkin is obviously much more accomplished and proven, but I still say It’s 50/50 based on the style match up favouring Ortiz.

It was just a couple of deranged individuals. The one guy accused me of racism for even daring to entertain the possibility that Povetkin could beat Ortiz. Sometimes fanboys are a laugh riot.

Look, I think Ortiz is pretty good, and it's not beyond reason to think he could beat Povetkin. I personally favour Povetkin. But the one guy in particular seemed a little deranged.

It’d be hell of a fight to see 5 years ago, regardless. Right now It’s doubtful if they could both climb to the ring safely.

    Ortiz is a washed-up fighter.

    Ortiz won the bout, regardless.

If anything, Wilder's scalping of Ortiz could only appreciate in worth after the Ortiz-Martin fight, even if only slightly.
