I know Fury doesn't need to be lean and ripped, but last fight he was too fat by anyones standards.

He doesn't need to be 280lbs to make use of leaning on people.

I see no reason why he can't get down to 260lbs.

His dad says "he performs better with a bit of extra weight" but that's just excuses. He's this fat because he doesn't train properly. He waits until 4-6 weeks before a fight and smashes it.

260-265lbs is surely heavy enough? Shed about 20lbs of fat and put on some muscle mass?

He was sluggish and slow vs Wilder last year.

If he's in that condition vs Usyk he WILL get obliterated.

How do you know he doesn't train properly? What Fury says and what Fury does are two different things. Most of the stuff he says on social media is an act to the crowd.

I have no doubt he trains his nut off behind the scenes.

No he's fine as he is

He came at 254 against Wallin and said he felt weak as ****....... his dad Big John was also fuming at his weight prior to the fight and it resulted in him stepping away from Ben Davison.

But surely how much of it was fat or muscle matters?

    Fury was 247lbs against Wlad.

I think Fury's problem against Wallin was getting caught and not being sharp, not that he couldn't KO him. Fury didn't take the fight seriously.

260-265 and with good muscle mass should be heavy enough.

For arguably his career best and certainly most dominant performance he weight in at 273.

And at 273 he had a nice blend of speed, power, movement and strength.

    As I say, he's fine.

He needs that Guinness for hydration and those bags of crisps to keep his strength up. What if his Ferrari blows a gasket and he has to pull his caravan by himself? Can't believe these vegans are trying to sabotage the King like this :ohno

Fury should be no higher than the 260 lbs.

I think the last Wilder fight was a real one off, he had problems at home and suffered from Covid too so he was out of shape, I think against AJ or Usyk he will come in significantly sharper and in better shape.

I do think Fury is slowing down though and I can see him getting beat soon by a power puncher, as much as I think Dillian has no chance I can see him stopping Fury if he gets some momentum, same with AJ.

I think he's better off being heavy these days. He's getting older and he's put his body through a lot of abuse over the years. Even if he lost the weight im not sure the speed and reflexes he used to have would return.

Fighting big and relying on his size, natural strength and ring IQ seems like the best approach for this stage of his career I reckon. He's obviously too fat though and needs to lose some of that belly.

So Dillian has absolutely no chance but at the same time if he gains momentum then he knocks Fury out.... lol

I'll say this. If Fury fights Usyk he will need to cut a lot of pounds. If he comes in looking like the Wilder 3 version he's going to get out-sped, out-cardioed and out slicked. Against the rest of the field it's not that critical.

His last fight he had to spend the vast majority of his camp in Morecambe running back and forth to the hospital due to his newborn baby being very sick instead of getting over to the USA much earlier

Different challenges though. He'll need to be quicker and have better stamina for Usyk. He'll be worked for 12 rounds.

    He'll need his speed.

Fury has a 30 round tank, the flab may slow his mobility but thats about it.
For Usyk, Fury would train as hard as he ever has IMO and would come in around the Wilder 2 weight without any dietry adjustments.
Whatever shape Fury came in at, he would be Usyks biggest career challenge.
