Because Steroid Shane was a completely different animal to Clean Shane and you only have to watch his respective performances against Margarito and Floyd to see that. Steroid Shane was an energizer bunny who could throw full power roid bombs nonstop all night without tiring against Margarito, who to be fair took an insane amount of savage flush head shots before inevitably wilting, whereas, conversely, the gas tanks of Clean Shane ever so mysteriously ran dry after three rounds against Floyd after almost sparking him out on his feet with a couple of admittedly still fairly powerful but not Steroid Shane powerful right hands when he wasn't on his concoction of designer steroids and energy boosting EPO.

It might be speculation but we're talking about fighters who went from not being tested at all for steroids to being tested on the night. Loma has done VADA and has never failed a test or been implicated in a PED scandal in his life. If Loma popped dirty for a picogram of a PED which was the equivalent of a sip of a weak cup of coffee he would be crucified on a molten cross and all his success and accomplishments would be attributed to it, let alone if he popped dirty or got caught taking a whole concoction of designer steroids and energy boosting PEDs and many of these same people would never let us forget it

That "end of his career", had a decade long sting of losses to top guys and only beating C level contenders. After beating Oscar in their first fight....he had virtually nothing but wins over mere top 10 contenders and a shot Vargas and mayorga. ALL up until he beat Margarito. Whom MOST people here don't rank highly, unless they need to 'Up' Shane to make someone beating him look more impressive.
