Why we trying to get all these guys in bar fights?

Can’t a man just enjoy a drink in peace?

Not all boxers would make a good street fighter.Reading Alan Minters autobiography years ago,he refers to an incident in a night club in Hungary if i remember correctly. This was following an event where he was representing England in the amateurs.Anyway he was drunk and upset the locals and admitted he was in serious trouble until Joey Singleton a street wise scouser came to his rescue

Yep Tyson and for that exact reason. Those short sharp explosive punches in a tight space...... he'd be lethal

Many Americans misread this as Bowe showed he isn't intimidated by what Lewis had done to him many others and Razor Ruddock the previous week.
In reality it was an athlete Bowe, whose adrenaline was pumping sky-high just coming off battle. He was afraid of Lewis in this moment he felt courage to stand up to LL. Problem was, Lewis was in a suit, even keeled, gave Bowe credit for a good fight but he remained calm. Bowe leads with "bum" ',were gonna get it on' etc. Lewis "ok" then calmly "I'm gonna knock you out, you know I'm gonna knock you out". Once Bowe started snifling it was a wrap. He would never fight Lewis that man with the demeanor of un undertaker.

How about Golota? He seems like he'd wreck some **** with no rules.

Garry Mason. Hard hitting very tough but could probably calm the whole thing down with his ready wit and charm. Bloody good chap RIP

Didn't know that. Jeez he must be the most intimidating looking bouncer ever. Bet he didn't have much trouble on his shift.

Lou Duva said Golota would be World Champion if the fights were in a bar, there's a story of Golota beating a guy up in a club and taking his clothes and dumping them in the trash back in Poland before he boxed pro.
