If wilder agreed to step aside last year and AJ then decided to fight Usuyk there is no way the Fury defence force would have said AJ wasn't ducking Fury. There would have been dozens of threads created calling AJ a ducker.
That's just pure speculation over a scenario that didn't occur. In real world, this is what you were saying less than 2 months ago: It looks liike we are getting what you wanted, and thought was the most logical course of action. Celebrate, don't complain.
I have no issue with the Whyte fight. The issue is how Fury and AJ are treated differently. You had Fury fans not wanting the Whyte fight and even defending Fury possibly skipping his mandatory. The same fans were then hoping AJ stepped aside as the only fight the world cared about was the "undisputed" yet when Fury turns the fight down suddenly the undisputed doesn't matter lol.
1.Hearn said Fury has let his intentions be known that he doesn't want to fight Usyk. 2. Usyk Manager comments back up Hearns comments. 3. Fury puts posts on social media suggesting he is fighting Whyte next instead of Usyk. 4. Warren wins a big purse bid for the Whyte fight. The evidence points to Fury didn't want to fight Usyk.
Don’t you think a more likely situation is none of them are ‘scared’ of each other and it just came down to ego/politics/pride getting in the way? All the step aside stuff would’ve taken months anyway. FWIW I think Usyk is a really tricky fight for Fury
You're always talking about them being treated differently. But most of that is mere speculation. Most real boxing fans respect both Fury and AJ. Eddie Hearn is a bit insufferable, so perhaps AJ cops a bit for that sometimes. Actually, Fury fans have a variety of attitudes towards the Whyte fight. I think Fury was rightly defended against the charge that he's scared or concerned to fight Whyte, and Whyte has been rightly condemned for appearing to be holding it up, demanding more money than he was ever realistically going to get. Fury will fight Usyk probably, when the two of them get through their next fights, IF they get through, if they don't lose or do so badly they decide to retire. Yes, it's the only fight that really matters but Whyte's made quite a name for himself somehow, the myth that he's been avoided for years. About time he gets exposed, or a chance to prove us wrong. Forget the silly Fury/AJ partisan nonsense. They have both been a credit to British boxing, appreciate them both. That's my view anyway.
