How would Tyson Fury fair against 2nd tier fighters from the 90s like Mercer, Ruddock, Moorer, Morrison, Golota, etc., fighters who weren't elite?

Easy work. Can beat them any way he wants.

Out of shape Fury coming in after a night out might have it tough for a round or two but they all slow and Fury takes over and asks them what's for desert.

Handles them all really well I think. Fury is one of those guys that just because of speed and size (whatever (accurate) things you want to say about his boxing skills and punching power) just matches up to everyone really well in these hypothetical head-to-heads.

Does well against all. Probably has a scary moment or two (maybe gets dropped) against Ruddock. Golota at his best would make it a tough (probably dirty) fight, Mercer at his best might pick up a win though I would still favor Fury.

The best version of Fury should beat them all.

A slob version of Fury has the potential to drop a match to any of them. People forget how good these dudes were at their best.

Mercer from Lewis fight gives him a really tough night, Rays chin was rock solid then.

Ruddock would be outboxed possibly stopped late

Moorer wasnt big enough or active enough plus he was too weak mentally and Fury would have messed with him so much before the bell even rang.

Morrison would have been outboxed and stopped

Golota would have made a decent account of himself but he would have lost as well.

Mercer definitely has a big claim of winning that fight

It's been a while since I watched it. I might actually throw it on tonight and try and score it

I'd favor him over all of them but can see him struggling here and there more than most would opine.

Assuming he trains, he beats all of them.
