Vitali taking that uppercut from Lewis comes to mind. Can you think of any other times when you were surprised to see a fighter taking a huge shot?

The right hand from Alexis Arguello that had Aaron Pryor looking up at the lights (but not on his back) in their first encounter.

Evander Holyfield taking Lennox Lewis monster punches in round 5 of the 1st fight.

Evander Holyfield taking George Foreman's monster shots

Ray Mercer in his fights vs Lewis, Morrison, Cooper, Witherspoon. Took HUGE clean shots. What a chin!

I don`t think Canelo is that powerful for a middleweight.

Holmes recovering from Shavers right hand and Fury recovering from that knockdown v Wilder. Hagler taking at least 6 vicious straight rights from Hearns in the first round of "the war".

Joseph Parker taking that flush left hook from Whyte. A harder punch than the right that put down Fury IMO.

Also Mavrovic took about a dozen of those monster uppercuts that everyone gushes over Vitali for taking once. When you talk about crazy chins, that guy had one.

Usyk taking a peach from Gassiev flush on the jaw. If u watch real closely u see that Usyk's legs did buckle a bit, but his smarts and IQ kept him in 'poker-face' territory where it looks like he just ate it without much reaction. Which in my mind is almost even more impressive

Ray Mercer repeatedly demonstrated an insane titanium chin.

I was always impressed with how many and what kind of punches Mike Tyson needed to finally knock down Pinklon Thomas.

I feel Ray Mercer seems to be the exact example this thread is looking for.
