Why do you think that by the way?

He barely wins rounds against the likes of Williams and other domestic level goons.

What evidence have you seen, brings you to believe he could beat one of the greatest middleweights there's ever been

For me it´s about timing and I think the timing is perfect for Eubank Jr if they meet at the end of the year, but maybe I m wrong...

I can't believe how poor Jnr was, it could have ended very close, it should have been over after five but I think he's losing his power and scared to throw anything big

I enjoyed Drago losing to the tubby guy and not much else tonight.

Unlike most people on here I did find Eubank quite funny though.

To be fair I don’t think he got out of 2nd gear. He just absolutely cruised through, it was so easy for him.
Williams is so basic and predictable. He’s got to be one of the most overrated British fighters of recent times.

Eubank cruised the fight. In reality, he did exactly what he said he would do barring the stoppage. He claimed he would outclass Williams and show him he's not on the level and that's what happened.

Cant take to Williams. Just a horrible dirty fighter, a bully who sticks his head in like a goat but turns to the ref the moment the rough stuff is returned.

Don't think anyone's called it out in this thread, but hats off to Frank Warren for the job he did with Williams in the 2-3 years up to this fight; I know he didn't ultimately stage the Andrade fight but certainly got him in position. Liam is a free agent now but probably needs some guidance if he's going to have one more run, because he looked shot to bits on Saturday.

I’m going to beg to differ here. He done the usual trick of getting him up the WBO rankings and got him a vacant world title shot against Beefy - who Frank grossly underestimated or overestimated Williams. Then it was the rematch. Then he’s moved up and done the right thing, he’s went through Heffron for the British, skipped euro level and beat a decent Fox, a then his last fight with Frank was a 1st round KO against Robinson (who?).

I think the two times he’s went to fight for a world title he’s been ill prepared. A bit like Anthony Yarde. You can’t manipulate the WBO rankings against euro bums then expect your fighter to defeat genuine world level fighters.

I don't think the Smith fight was for a world title. That was decent matchup for where Williams was at the time

It was for the interim title. Liam Smith didn’t make weight so missed out on reclaiming the world title.
