Time for Female boxing to be 3 minute rounds and 12 rounds for world title fights

    I think the tone has come for female boxers to fight 3 minutes per round and 12 rounds for world title fights.

    With the upcoming Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor fights it’s time and should be the case for Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall.

    If you think (and you probably are) this will somehow be an advantage for Katie Taylor and Claressa Shields..... it won't be.

    Your girl Marshall is going down. No need to debate when it happens you will admit I was right and you were wrong but then again knowing you have trouble accepting the truth so you will resort to excuses when Claressa Shields spanks Savannah Marshall. People from the mid West line Flint, Michigan don’t play boxing!

    People don't win matches because they're from a [articular town. I've yet to hear to lay out an actual pathway to victory for Shields, all I've heard thus far is platitudinal magical thinking.

    Also, as a side note, being from Flint never helped the Dirrell Brothers all that much.

    The Dirrell brothers are world class boxers and both became world champions yet you feel it’s right to discredit them a guy like you who has never fought as far as I am aware either professionally or amateur. Let me educate you because you obviously need it. It’s the exceptions like the Dirrells who become world champion. Many talented gifted fighters don’t win world title or even get to fight for them. I don’t have to lay out a path for Shields to win because the truth is she has many paths and ways to beat Marshall. The most stupid thing I have heard is the talk about Marshall’s so called punching power which is overrated based on her competition to date and even if it’s genuine being a powerful puncher won’t help against the supreme skills of Shields. It will be like Fury vs Wilder 2. Skills win fights!
