    Dumb thread. Floyd would never fight a prime version of Usyk, let alone in his backyard. We know Usyk is a very rare breed of warrior and one of the true legacy fighters who isn't in the protecting his zero game. No cherrypicking. No ducking them while they're in their prime. No weakening and crippling them at the negotiating table. He's a fearless road warrior who would not only fight anyone in their prime but do so in their backyard in a heartbeat.

    You shrink Usyk down and he just gets faster, more athletic and agile, whereas, conversely, a much bigger Floyd just gets slower and less athletic.

    Usyk didn't even take up boxing until he was 15 for goodness sake but look at everything he's achieved both amateur and pro and all of it on the road or in his opponent's backyards. Floyd was raised from the crib to box by actual world class pros and world champions. As talented, accomplished and brilliant as Usyk is imagine how good he would be if that had been the case with him and he turned pro in his late teens and had divisions every 5lbs to conquer as opposed to turning pro a couple of months before his 27th birthday with only one division above his one?

    My point is that weights effect styles, and also that it's too difficult to know how they would have fought at that weight seeing as we've never seen Floyd fight at heavier weights or Usyk at lower weights.

    I get you're trying to say "what if they were the same weight by default" - So what weight would you hypothetically put them at then?

    Are they the same weight at LW or HW? This matters.

    As much as I don’t care for Floyd he is still probably a level above Usyk. But Usyk’s style wold make it 50/50 fight.

    Floyds style is more suited to the smaller weights so 147 and below he would win but CW and above Usyk beats him

    Usyk is a very good fighter but his opposition at Cruiserweight is hilariously overrated to boost him up. Supposedly it was some sort of murderer's row. Lmao, yeah right.

    To be fair the guy he beat in the semi finals was already considered very good, won the next super tournament, and is still #1 in the division four years later.

    Usyk lands more shots than Floyd did, he throws more combos, Floyd was mainly a spoiler who pot-shotted.
