Wilder is pretty much a Dillian Whyte/Joseph Parker level operator. He gets absurdly overrated and hyped by some on here.

It would be a competitive fight, but Joshua would have to be the favorite here.

Don't disagree with anything you're saying. Problem AJ has now he can't just plow through people with his size and power he has to learn to be a better boxer and well he is simply an OK boxing, not a great one. He does the basic things well but the more crafty stuff, like lateral movement, head movement, clinching and framing, a more sophisticated jab etc elude him because these things take years to master and he took up boxing too late. Talent takes you only so far and he's seemingly reached his limit on talent alone.

As for Wilder what other options did Wilder have other than to just grit it out and try and score a KO while being thoroughly out boxed and out fought. He doesn't have the wider skill set to do anything else than what he did or the boxing brain to evolve. Joshua tried to learn from his mistakes, altered his style in ways that hasn't generally pleased fans who liked his previous guts it out performances vs Whyte and then Wlad and to a lesser degree Povetkin. But at least he has tried making adjustments and not simply tried harder and cross his fingers that this time it works.

No doubt if Joshua/Wilder ever happens which I seriously doubt based on Wilder's previous reluctance to tangle with Joshua, Wilder will show heart, show he won't quit, but won't show any new skills or show any ability to learn from previous mistakes. He'll go in with one game plan, the KO and will hang in there until he gets it or get KO'ed himself.

YAWN! Whoever lands first wins. Same as it's always been.

Both are glass cannons. Joshua is technically better so the edge would probably go to him to land first but it's as close to a "pickem" fight as you get.

Fact is Joshua’s resume is far superior to Wilder’s. That said I have always viewed this fight ending with Wilder putting AJ to sleep. For whatever skills Wilder doesn’t have AJ lacks head movement and fights very stiff. Recipe for disaster against Wilder. Imagine how overrated either guy would have been had they fought in 2018 after Wilder KOd Ortiz and AJ beat Parker.. People would have put the winner in top 7-10 HWs of all time..

AJ has not only fought much better competition am and pro than The Bronze Dosser but he's also fought a lot more punchers than him too.

And if you don't think Usyk couldn't also hurt The Bronze Dosser you're very much mistaken, incorrect and wrong.

Wilders chin is cracked and every touch on it from now on will turn out his lights..

Not to mention the long term brain damage he took in his last two fights..

Think this new found power that Fury has is a myth. Wilder was ready to be taken out from about round 3 onwards last two fights and a better puncher like AJ would have chinned him and not **** farted about for another load of rounds
