I am hearing that this exhibition is in the works for later on in the year, I understand that ex fighters may need or see the potential to make a few bob but wouldn't Hatton be campaigning as a cruiserweight now?

He always ballooned up in weight drastically and lost it by fight time (which led to his downfall imho) so with this being only an exhibition where there would most likely be a catch weight, I don’t see why he couldn’t do the same today. Though it will be a real uphill pain in the a** at his age haha.

Even less appealing than Kell vs Khan.

I heard both the WBA and WBC already designed a celebratory belt for the occasion, for a small sanctioning fee.

Neither of them really need the money. Seems odd that they would want to come back even for an exhibition unless of course it's for charity.

I guess it really comes down for the reason for this. If both would simply like to get back in the ring in front of a crowd because they miss fighting and miss the attention then I don't see the problem with it. If it's a cynical cash grab then I'm not on board.

PPV worthy endeavor. But I'd be uncomfortable watching all that blubber bounce , just like it's frightening watching Furys love handles absorb body punches.
