Very good power, decent hand speed, ok chin Puts his punches together really well Way too easy to hit Does everyone remember the Jack Cullen fight? His head was getting pinged all over the ring, thought he might get stopped even though Cullen can't punch. This Madiev bum isn't a challenge, Hearn talking him up lol but he is below British level ffs Lets see him step before we get to over the top. I don't even think Bently is real British level, just right place right time
Trolling post but I'll respond anyway. Madiev is not a bum. He was world youth championship silver medalist ( only losing to oleksandr khyzhniak in the final). It's probably Cash's toughest fight yet. Look at this highlight reel KO This content is protected You really hate Cash dont you for some reason. I agree about him having a tough fight against Cullen, but Cullen is a decent awkward fighter with some power. A lot of prospects coming up have tests like that (such as Groves vs Kenny Anderson) . Apart from that fight Cash has been highly impressive and improving every fight, comes out super fast with speed and power, seems very mentally strong and disciplined too. Don't think hes overrated at all.
Madiev has 2ko’s and 2 home town draws lol and has fought absolutely nobody. Cullen has a whopping 3 Ko’d lol Cash has only looked good against Bentley. Bentley went life and death with a bloke Liam Williams battered . Williams fought the unbeaten version too lol. Bentley fought the ruined version. Cash is certainly good, no denying he is a worthy contender and above Brit level IMO. Still don’t see why so many, probably most people think he beats Eubank. Williams has fought much better fighters. I think Liam Smith would be a good fight for Cash, Eubank beats him pretty handy IMO. Too much hand speed and Cash is very easy to hit.
@james5000 you're incorrect.look at Cullens boxrec, he has 9 KO's from 20 wins and has dropped guys in numerous of his points wins. I get why you're hating now, you're a Eubank fanboy and Cash has been talking smack about him all week . Too early to say whether Cash is beating Eubank. Id actually like to see Liam Smith vs Eubank, I think Liam Smith would beat your boy, better all round fighter.
Felix Cash overrated? I would say the apposite, he has close to no profile, barely any social media following and almost never gets spoken about apart from the odd brief mention by Eddie. Even on boxing forums he's not a fighter that gets much attention, let alone outside of that, or with the more casual fan. I think he's a top fighter, I rate him very highly- can genuinely win a world title without the sort of favors or advantages other fighters have at times received from Matchroom. He hits very hard, is strong and looks durable, no issues chin wise and he's a far better boxer than given credit for. The most impressive thing against Bentley though was his speed- hands and feet. He looked razor sharp and lastly, he is a hungry fighter so I expect him to do very well. He's coming into his peak the next 1-3 years so I hope he gets the fights he deserves.
I like Cash my only gripe is he seems to have been around a while now and not had a meaningful fight, he is 28 now so should really kick on. He has a strong test tonight so that will be a marker.
Cash is very overrated for sure. Before that fight I’d say 80% of people would have backed him to beat Eubank from what I had seen. Now surely it’s like 20% lol
No they wouldn’t have… He’s a top fighter with things to work on. Not World Level yet but he’s certainly capable of becoming a contender.
The OP has some good points but he is certainly a fighter who gives everything in the ring. Looks to be European level but he done well tonight coming back from a very bad 2nd round.
I was at work last night so I watch the show now and Felix Cash is far from the world elite. I agree Jurgen He looks like a boxer on a nice European level.
Cracking performance from Cash, and I don’t think he could of done much more, as you say. I thought he showed good maturity to hang on when hurt. How many times do we see fighters trade, or give their opponent too much space to work, when hurt. It usually ends up in a defeat or shipping unnecessary punishment. Good performance imo.
I didn't know anything about the guy he fought last night but he was better than his record suggested. Cash was lucky to get through that fight. His opposition in the future will look at that and think even if they are losing he will switch off at some point and give them a chance. Cash has a lot to work on in the gym, I was surprised that he had problems in his personal life after his last fight. Hopefully he can move on now and put it all behind him.
