There’s a case for Andrade, Martinez, Khan and Lara. That’s about it.

Khan, probably would've sparked or outpointed him, but he clearly did not want to get in the ring with Amir.

    Pacquiao and Khan.

Both speedsters that would have given him problems prime.

When Pac slowed down PBF knew it was time.

Floyd was older and way past it for Pacquiao.

I'm not saying he ducked these fighters, but i always thought fights vs Stevie Johnston, Paul Spadafora, at Lightweight would of been interesting fights. Considering they're both fast, slick, Southpaws. And in my opinion would of posed a few problems for Mayweather.

People don't like it because they hate Khan, but he obviously ducked Khan. He won a poll and Mayweather fought the guy who Khan beat. He even had the nerve to string him along having him fight on his undercard.

Pac and Mayweather ducked each other primarily due to greed, not fear. Arum is on record saying he wanted to maximize Pacs earnings and to wait for the fight. Mayweather used all kinds of goal post shifting to delay it so he could let the fight marinate and make the most out of it with the least risk.

He arguably avoided Keith Thurman. Made a dumb stipulation asking him to fight an unranked Spence who was nobody at the time. Thurman was his mandatory and didn't have to agree to any irrelevant road blocks.

I agree Mayweather was older but I think in the H2H sense against Pacquiao he benefitted more from Pac losing his speed edge than Pac from the youth edge.

On the other hand Glass City Cobra has a pretty plausible explanation as to the reason for the delay in the fight happening. I'll generally tip my hat to any explanation which is "I did it for the money".

I believe that the Marquez fights are proof positive that Manny never would’ve come close to beating Mayweather.

Man, then I have some news to tell you with Ali, Frazier, and Foreman.
Boxing Math doesn't always worth that way.

Incredibly stupid considering that the fight took place and Mayweather won in expected form. “Math” would involve coming up with elaborate scenarios in which Manny would beat Floyd and/or Floyd would refuse to fight him until he “knew” he’d win.

I don't know if I'd use the word duck, because I'm not privy to all of the politics in boxing between promoters, but there were real threats in his weight classes in margarito and Williams. It never sat well with me that floyd fought judah, baldomir (yes, I get it was for belts) and then Marquez in his return after Hatton. It seemed like floyd didn't want to fight the bigger welters, which I get. But if you're going to claim to be tbe in a division, i don't think it's unreasonable that fans expect you to fight other great fighters in your division. I think its no coincidence he had missed fights with challenging fighters in and around his weight, which makes it hard to agree with his self assessment as the greatest ever, although, I think he did have the skillset to be exactly that

Lol yeah Floyd Mayweather avoided Manny Pac by actually calling him out and Pac avoided Mayweather.
