Mike demolished Bruno even quicker than the first fight even if he wasn't bobbing and weaving as much. Saying he looked bad is quite subjective, though you do have a point

Holyfield had been stopped by Bowe in their 3rd fight. He had been in 3 wars with Bowe. Beaten by Moorer, looked shopworn vs Czyz. That is the only reason Team Tyson took the fight. It was big $ for they thought small risk.

Not gonna debate you as you're the most hardcore Lennox fanboy out there.

Lennox was clearly good, but his resume is not impressive to me.

Its good resume but when lewis fans criticise tysons or bowes resume are funny or people who rank his resume top 3 also are funny

Because you're biased as crap. You're hunting for every possible chink in the mans record to discredit him. You could do that for anybody. Go ahead. Give me a fighter you think has a good resume and i could break it down the way you did Lewis's

And it's definitely more impressive than anyone post 90s

This is an age old debate I've had with people on this forum, it's easy to look at boxrec and assume Lewis waited or picked fights at certain times, when in fact if you look at those times and research the events, the majority of the time he wasn't at fault. Even having said that, there's no one else he could have fought, Tyson went to prison and then paid step aside so he didn't have to fight him. Holyfield avoided Lewis from the Tyson II to 99 when then fought, alongside the network issue that muddied the water, his is well documented. Who else?

His resume is good, there's no doubt about it. Holyfield was 37 yes however was the number 2 fighter in the world at that point and still hovered around the top of the division for the next 8 years. Who else beats Holyfield at that time on those nights?

Tua gained that weight to fight Lewis in order to have more weight behind his shots, he dropped weight after this.

If you look at any heavyweight fighters resume and scrutinise it closely enough, you can do this with anyone. As a challenge, name any heavyweight champion from history and I'll scrutinise their resume just to show how easy it is. The fact is, Lewis has an excellent resume, this is almost universally accepted, he took a fight against Klitschko on 2 weeks notice despite being old and out of shape, imagine that happening today.

Tua, Mercer, Ruddock, Bruno, Rahman, Briggs.
All were in their primes and all were good boxers.
Not ATG level, but good boxers.

And although he wasn't exactly in his prime, Holyfield wasn't shot either, he was still in very good shape. He had lost some speed compared to his 92 form, but on the other hand he was more durable and stronger.

True, he was not at his best, but he wasn't shot either.
Having been KOd by Bowe doesn't mean he was shot.

Who besides Ali and Louis have a better resume than Lennox Lewis? Bowe and Tyson's resumes don't compare.

So your not fan of Lewis. You can tear down anyone's resume if you put in enough effort. You shouldn't have to work this hard. He has a better resume than anyone not named Ali or Louis.

Holyfield has MUCH better resume overall and better even if you take into account only his HW career
