Amir Khan announces retirement

Nobody on here has crapped on Khan as much as I have but it kinda feels like the end of an era for me. I can remember Khan in the Olympics and his very early career. Despite his Glass Jaw he was able to win some trinket belts and he was not scared to fight the best (Kell Brook duck withstanding). I hope Khan doesn’t squander his money and has a great retirement. He could easily do commentary for one of the British Boxing networks if he wanted I think he could add valuable insight.

Good. He made for exciting fights througg out his career, i hope now Brook follows suit. Nothing else left for him at this point either.

 

Khan is a manufactured product who's been doing chicken dances and been ridiculed his whole career.

In a sport of 17 weight divisions and 4 world champions per weight there's nothing noteworthy of anything he's done at all. This celebrity drama queen multi flawed comedy act joke hasn't won a world title fight for 11 years, couldn't last long at world level, got knocked out in all 4 divisions he fought in, lost and got dropped to all levels of fighters. He's an absolute JOKE.

His fanbase are just so desperate they keep holding onto him knowing that all their other fighters are leisure centre level bums LOL

 

If Khan hadn't have won a sliver medal we wouldn't have seen Calzaghe V Lacy?

Ricky Hatton and Prince Naseem Hamed says hello. Lennox Lewis don't just put it all Khan's back. For a guy that is famous for one thing getting KTFO. Get's so much credit. Hatton, Hamed and Lewis are greater fighters than Khan anytime.

 

Amir Khan has done more for the sport of boxing in the UK than most people can comprehend.
