And whatever divide exists is attributable to his (South) Asian following. Outside of it, Khan is roundly disliked, even in Bolton. His 'golden boy' sheen wore off well over a decade ago, which is why he was making comments like this circa 2009;
Khan fought, took a beating and postfight stated was beaten by better man on the night. Would not call it a embarrassment, he got well beaten that is all.
The beat down Brook gave Khan is similar to what Savannah will do to your girl Shields. Only it will be more emphatic and more fun to watch.
Think it’s going to be the other way because my babe Claressa has got real skills which your ***** Savannah is going to find out that there are levels to this game.
Do you think Floyd would have beat a younger version of Khan? I hear talk about FM ducking. Personally, I don't see it.
You have a short memory LOL Wasn't that long ago when the great Mexican fight fans DISOWNED Canelo & named him El Pollo Rojo after he bragged he would beat GGG at160 there & then,as us Mexicans fight we don't run. But when it came to backing it up He meekly handed back the really bogus WBC claiming he wasn't really a middleweight ROF The Hispanic guys in the gym here said " He's right us Mexicans will always FIGHT but he's obviously not a TRUE MEXICAN
... He also took his beating manfully, showing some impressive resistance to punches (relatively speaking, of course), and didn't look for a way out. I don't think he embarrassed himself in there. Sure, his mouth wrote checks his ass couldn't ultimately cash, he spoke some plain nonsense in the build-up, but it was his job to psych himself up — it was never going to hurt his chances to knowingly select the brass balls route, load up on the chutzpah and try to instill doubt in Brook with a show of larger-than-life assurance. I think he knew he was up against it and that he needed every possible edge he could gain, hence the emphasis on gamesmanship right up until the last moments before the fight.
