I've met Jack a couple of times. He's well mannered, that's what I remembered the most about him.
I agree, u have to work up the levels and there is always that time when someone from the step below moves onto the same step as an opponent and moves up a level but I think there's 2 or 3 levels here and all I can see in Jack's favour is that Josh has a real bad night whilst Jack has a real good night.
I think Jack will do better than most are expecting after an Initial tornado in the first 3 or 4 rds from josh

Massive Taylor fan and will be supporting him Saturday but Catterall comes across really likeable.

How is Catteralls chin? Might have a bet on Taylor points as I think Jack is better than people think

Watched the show last night. I thought it felt a bit forced, more than it usually does - the stuff at the start about Taylor's injury was pretty cringy. At least Catterall had the decency to drop the point when he realised he was talking nonsense.

I was also pleased to see Josh acknowledge that he has fans all over the UK. Sky are clearly angling for the 'Englishman travels to hostile ground' story, just as they did for Williams v Eubank. I hope he doesn't play ball - no doubt he's a proud Scotsman, but he's too good to be pigeonholed. He deserves to be embraced by the whole of the UK.

Jack comes across well, and I wish him luck, but difficult to see anything other than Josh coasting to victory.

I know you shouldn't put too much emphasis on "triangle theories" in boxing but the easy comparison here is to see how they both dealt with Ohara Davies.

Josh got rid of him and looked spiteful doing so.... where's Catterall went the full distance in a boring fight where not a great deal happened.

The concern from that for me is when Catterall feels Taylor's power, will he shell up and not engage......

That’s what I’ll be backing. He has a solid chin, never down in a pro or amateur fight to my knowledge.

Also noticed this and agree; as much as Sky will push for the Scotland v England angle (I saw they draped the fighters in their respective flags for the promo shots), it's a good decision by Josh (and his publicist) to push the UK-wide fanbase narrative.

He should be getting way more dues for what he's achieved so far and not pigeonholed like you say.

Yeah I liked that bit as an Englishman who's going up to support Taylor.

This is a great watch if anyone has a spare half hour. Taylor comes across proper down to earth. Good how he still treats his amateur coach in Terry McCormack. Has him in his corner every fight.

Does anyone know what time the first fight is on Saturday?
I think I've seen doors open at 16:45.

The truth is that these things are only for entertainment purposes. It's pointless to read into them too much. It's like these pseudo-scientific body language experts that appear in documents after the fact - nonsense to anyone capable of critical thinking. The fact is that Taylor is a ned and Catterall is well-mannered. In a programme like this Taylor is obviously going to come off as more confident, because he's in his element.

That event would be better without any undercard fights.

Eric Donovan fighting Robeisy Ramirez (2x Olympic gold medalist) on the undercard is a strange one
