This is crazy...Golovkin had threads celebrating that he said he would fight in four different weights, and never bothered later. But Bronediggity made champion in four weights and got dissed so hard over whatever TF. It's like...nah. I am done with this forum.
Lets ignore the fact that according to 80% of the boxing fanbase GGG won both Canelo fights. The Canelo who is now the p4p king and loved by everyone... Ward is a a great fighter who got beat by Kovalev, only fought in his hometown, was too terrified of venturing outside his own state, let alone his own country. That's the thing with boxers like Canelo, Ward etc... people quickly forget the robberies they were involved in
The irony is that Golovkin is definitely MUCH smaller than Ward. Ward was bigger than Froch, who remarked how small Golovkin seemed when he saw him. So let's say Ward did beat Golovkin, as some think he would, why is that a knock on Golovkin when Ward would be the size bully in that matchup? Ward and his followers are too stupid to realise that trying to diminish a smaller guy by calling him small is ridiculous and exposes that you're seeking smaller opposition for an advantage, which doesn't make you the ''bigger'' or braver man. The fact Golovkin is even considered a threat to Ward is a clue that he's better, because a lifelong 160 fighter should not be able to beat or even outpunch a guy who finished at 175 and didn't look undersized.
Ward had a close fight with kovalev that could have gone either way but stopped him in the rematch. The difference between Ward and ggg is ward dared to be great entered the super 6 as an underdog proved people wrong and won the tournament rather easily fighting the best. Ggg cried took step aside money never dared to be great and his resume and accomplishments are 100000 light years behind that of Ward who's the greater fighter by far. Ggg is a bitter diva who feasted on bums for 85% of his career whose best win lost to Ryder let that that sink in.
Well the problem with that is.... Originally it was Manny Pacquiao who was the the number 1 target, then for a short while it was Lucas Mattysse then it went full blown on GGG. Matter of fact, Canelo was pretty hated up until he lost to Floyd, then when he beefed with GGG all the sudden the likes of Dontaesboxnation and Karceno ect.. became Canelo superfans... Don't really see any Pro White boxing sites or youtube pages and I doubt true White Supremacists would be gung ho about cheering on Asians and Latinos.

Yeah it was and even now still is Manny, your also right regarding their lessening with Canelo, though only due to him losing to Floyd, as they felt now they could just easily pick up their "Floyd Beat him" card anytime a situation arises, though i guess most weren't expecting Canelo to further ascend into what he is now currently.
Ward lost to Kovalev in the first fight, Absalutely no doubt. Canelo lost to GGG in the first fight, only a rare few think otherwise, you being one of the few.
