Joe Louis did after the first Walcott fight, because he was all-class.

I saw Catterall landing many more clean accurate jabs, much more power shots - Taylor maybe got a couple of decent uppercuts and bodyshots in, but nothing as notable.

Both had a point deducted and Catterall had the 10-8 round with the KD.

I find it hard to see anything other than a Cartterall win. Maybe my perception would be different watching it back, but I very much doubt it

I had it 113-112 Catterall but there were a lot of close rounds and Catterall shrunk in the last three rounds like a post-ejaculatory male member. He definitely didn't grab his opportunity to become champ.

Now that the fight is over, time for a bit of casual sexism. I do like a bit of Natasha Jonas.

Catterall beat him up just like Kambosos did Lopez. Should had been another hand over of belts - Would had been a streak of mulit belt loses and good for boxing AJ - LOPEZ -TAYLOR

You have terrible taste in fighters, you have no idea what you're watching most of the time and can't score a fight worth a ****. I always remain calm and never let any of the commentary bias me or get in my head, and I also don't start overstating how well an opponent is doing just because they're overperforming. As in, I don't hand out sympathy rounds because someone everyone thought would lose by KO in 5, held their own fairly impressively. At best this fight can be scored one of three ways. 114-111 and 113-112 for Taylor or 113-112 for Catterall. Jack didn't come close to dominating rounds 2-4, and gave away the last 4. Cool off, and quit acting like your avatar.

Whats even more sickening is Jack won't even get a rematch. Taylor is finished at 140 and will be fed to Bud who up at 147 is going to him him a pasting.
You can't blame Taylor for blatant corruption but he had no sense of humility in there tonight so i will be rooting for him to get splattered going forward.

I feel absolutely gutted for Catteral

Of course they do, but... they're also not spoilerific southpaws and Josh won't take them lightly, after struggling to make weight.

Taylor too easy to hit and his sytle is made for Crawford who will counter him and pick him apart.

I said close cause I wasn't scoring but if you take the knock down and the point deduction into account I don't see how Catterall does not wins

Hopefully Jack will be propelled into bigger fights as he's now on people's radar, similar to Isaac Cruz's very good performance against Tank which put Cruz on people's radar.
