too deep? passed postol and a razor close SD at home vs prograis (who at the same time has beaten noone)?

no way is taylor a p4p fighter. And it has been shown very clearly tonight.

He's C level at best but he did deserve the decision against your crush and 100% would've stopped him had the ref not been in Big Al's pocket.

You keep saying I'm a Garcia fan despite me telling you like half a dozen times I don't even like him. I've never been a fan of his but for some strange reason you keep trying to score a cheap point by resorting to this lie lol

If Josh Taylor does move up to 147, he's gonna get KTFO soon enough, and after his arrogant and delusional postfight interview tonight, I very much look forward to that happening. In the meantime, those three judges need their assets frozen pending a thorough investigation.

Nice summary - and whilst Froch's comments are worth pondering, I think saying Catterall went into survival mode is maybe a bit harsh - he was still countering TTT cleanly in the last few rounds, although sporadically. I gave Catterall 11, but Taylor 9,10 and 12.

IS IT STARTING to dawn on you guys 140 is a bad division, and winning all the titles in a bad division doesn't make you great?

Josh Taylor isn't one of the best pound-for-pound fighters. Catterall looked like a very limited eight round fighter who was operating on fumes once round nine began. And Taylor got his clock cleaned by the same one-two combination over and over and over round after round.

If Taylor moves up to welter next, he is going to get pummeled by the top guys. He needs to work his way up.

On ESPN they said Taylor's team might ask the WBO to make them the mandatory for Crawford.

I know George thinks Taylor is more talented than Crawford, but that is a one-sided beatdown by Crawford (and I don't really care for Crawford at all).

Josh Taylor fought like a novice. He got floored and embarrassed at home against a very limited guy with ZERO power (13 kos in 27 fights).

That fight had drama because it looked like it was all slipping away from Taylor, but that fight was GARBAGE.

Taylor disappears from all the pound-for-pound lists after that.

And he may never win a title at welter.

If Catterall had any power at all, Taylor gets his head caved in. IS TAYLOR BLIND in his right eye? Because he can't see punches coming straight at him.

    That was a rough watch.

The round he was docked a point in he clearly won. That was a 9-9, not a 10-9 for Catterall.

Yes too deep. Someone with his resume doesn't get exposed, if he gets beaten it means his opponent is good.

I think it is pretty obvious that every top fighter in welter ktfo of taylor. And if I'm wrong, at the very least every elite fighter at welter does it.

His resume is nothing special, man. His belts are. Belts do not give skills though.

It is. There's no question about his resume or achievements.

The fight is a reflection on Catterall, not Taylor.

Catterall threw that fight away during the last few rounds, constantly backing up and not throwing anything, and the constant grabbing. It looked like he was just trying to survive to the final bell at times. It was a very close fight and not the egregious robbery people are claiming it was. You can see the bias at play that people in here are only calling out Catterall's deduction.
