Who won - Taylor or Catterall

The guys that voted Josh Taylor better have some explaining to do

Also saw it live and had Taylor winning. Had Catterall 5-3 after 8 with a KD but then he went into a shell and Taylor took the last 4 purely on cleaner work. 113-112 Taylor.

Reminded me of Warrington v Galahad - Warrington wasn’t as good as previous fights and Galahad did better than expected but was messy with lots of holding.

Look at Taylor's face after the fight and the reactions of both fighters/camps after the bell. It was a robbery.

 

I missed out watching it live last night as we had peeps round.

Taylor himself said he was in monster shape for Catterall.

 

Taylor knows Catterall won. That petulant punch he landed after the bell at the end of the 11th said it all. He was frustrated because he knew he was about to lose the fight, barring a robbery. They were never likely to give it to an unheralded Englishman in Scotland fighting a Sottish undisputed world champion.

Lopez and Taylor: both unified/undisputed champions, both possibly weight drained, both possibly looking past an unheralded but highly experienced and undefeated opponent, both fighting at home with A-side advantage as prohibitive favourites, both got outboxed and dropped.

 

I thought Catterall won an ugly, messy, difficult to score close fight.

 

The guys that voted for Taylor fall into two categories:

1) Defiant, sullen, incredulous contrarians.
2) Massive Taylor fans

There isn’t any wiggle room here. Tell me which 7 rounds Taylor won.

 

I’m Scottish and a big Taylor fan but he didn’t win the fight...
I think 4 things happened to cause Taylor’s performance.
1- He’s badly drained making the weight now. He looked like skellator in the face at the weigh ins.
2- He was coming off surgery and probably started camp heavier than normal.
3- This was a huge letdown fight for Josh. I don’t give a shitt what he says, you can’t go from beating savages like Regis and Ramirez, to fighting someone like Jack and not have some kind of comedown.
4- Jack is a really good fighter who was badly underestimated by just about everyone including Josh.

As for the BBB of C, I don’t expect a thing from those useless fukkers.
There is a pool of 5 or 6 guys who have been fukking up fights for the last 20 years!!!
They are either incompetent or corrupt and so is the board for allowing these cockksuckers to continue fukking up fighters careers with impunity.
Is there anyone on here that hears the name Ian John Lewis and thinks, great, we have the best of the best on the job so there will be no shenanigans???
I hear his name and think, this ****t is as good at judging as he was at fighting!!! Complete and utter shite...
If the incompetent ****t had a braincell, it would die of loneliness.
