Dempsey didnt tko him in round 1 he did it in 3 when WIllard was 37 years old and Dempsey had 2 hands frazier only had one!

 

Frazier isnt dominating this one , I see willard by decisions actually.Y'all are judging dude against 2 of the greatest heavyweights ever to box! lots of morans shots up close like the hook to the head and right to head were blocked and that was a guy using two hands . If Willard is only concern with the lead hook than I dont know what other options frazier has at his disposal.

People really underrate Fraziers power imo.

Frazier stopped the vast majority of his opponents. Bonavena and Ali had ATG chins. Obv foreman smashed Joe twice. Foreman also had an ATG chin. Who else survived Joe's power? Bugner, who still took a knockdown?

I'm not going to pretend to be a Willard expert but just going to say I think Frazier hit plenty hard enough to get just about anyone who could be gotten out, out.

 

This is the best Jess Willard, correct? Not the Willard, who lost to Dempsey. In this case, I think class can overcome styles. I'll go with Frazier by unanimous, one sided decision, in 12. And Jess will probably hit the canvas a couple times. IMHO, of course.

 

By the standards in Frazier's day, that would have been a TKO in round one..... Willard went down how many times? Willard of the Johnson fight still loses to Dempsey, perhaps taking another couple rounds
