He’s like The Rolling Stones or Kiss on one of their many farewell tours. People eat this crap up. Last chance to see Fury fight…until the next time.

Incredibly weak legacy to leave behind if he does.

As always, he'll wake up tomorrow and completely contradict himself.

Although I do think he'll be conscious about the constant boozing and pigging out catching up with him. It's going to lead to him losing to a lesser fighter sooner or later.

Fury has threatened to retire how many times now?
He’s trying to drum up interest for this mediocre fight.

In addition to saying that he will retire, Fury has claimed that he has nothing to prove as he's 'a two-time undisputed champion'

Maybe he's just taking the pi55.

Don't believe it for a minute... its just a line to generate a few more colum inches get published or tweeted and it keeps the fight relevant.

I think he probably has 3 more fights and then retires. AJ if he returns to winning ways will always sell, Usyk with whats happening with the world may not happen and I don't think he will want any of the younger bangers coming through. Say someone like Yoka.

IF he beats Whyte, it's surely AJ or Usyk next but after that who is the big name he can face? or even be hyped up? From a British perspective it's Joyce and Dubois but big question marks over the latter and would Joyce bring enough cash to the table.

I thought his coach was retiring a while back also.

His legacy is not there yet, but I suspect he is trolling somewhat again.

Hey everyone, please buy tickets and PPV's for my last fight until I come out of retirement and fight again like I was planning to do all along.

I don't believe it for a minute. I've said in many threads Fury needs another 2-3 fights including Joshua and Usyk to be be considered the best of this era. I'm not convinced he wants Usyk but I think he believes he can beat Joshua. The problem for Fury is that he can't do what he did in the 3rd fight with Wilder. by barely training otherwise he gets beaten with some of the people on here having a mental breakdown.
I'm still don't get why people still listen to Fury and take him at his word. he certainly knows how to wind people up and he will no doubt say something that completely contradicts it in a weeks time. and again half of you will just lap it up.

Anyone who thinks he is being 'genuine' here is bonkers.

Theres no way he retires without the AJ fight done, it's a 50 million pay day for each of them.

If Fury beats Whyte, he will fight AJ next - as Usyk will not fight this year imo.

He offered Usyk and his team the April 23rd date for the fight.

I think he believes he can beat both Usyk and AJ.

But yeah, very weird people take this stuff at face value.
