Warren Smith is such a casual asking Tim Tszyu if he is looking forward to starting camp LOL the fight is less than 4 weeks away.
Hammond was stuck in first gear the whole way. Very uninspiring considering how promising he used to be. I really enjoy Steve Spark. He is good value for a domestic level. Dat Homie Daz gave a good effort. Hogan-Ryan was as ugly as expected really. Dennis just to crafty and skilled for the gangly and awkward New South Welshman. Can't really fault Nikita that much considering it was his debut. I mean he has plenty of faults but he had been out of the ring for so long and didn't have the longest amateur career. Definitely some power in them hands.
Stevie Spark may have been the most impressive performer on the night. Given Liam Wilson's redemption & the Beast from the East's pro debut, that's saying something. He was as impressive as Cameron Hammond was disappointing. Hammond got the Olympics spot a decade ago ahead of Tim Tszyu & Daniel Lewis. Time marches on. I'd be surprised if there's a better Light Welter in the country than Spark & that includes the bloke who's on the cusp of a world title fight. Hope we see him matched tough in competitive fights from now on. The thought I always have when watching him is that he's a natural. They just need to build him up & match him with tougher opponents. Guys like Ty Telford & Darragh Foley would be good opponents for him. And Liam Paro after his world title shot. Then onto some international opponents.
Hogan should be kept off all cards going forward, his fights are always messy and boring. He couldnt bruise a grape with his punching power so you know you are going to have to sit through all rounds of a boring fight without the potential excitement of a KO
Idk about that; he clinched like mad against Nwachukwu. Ryan is every bit the feather-fist Hogan is, and messier and more boring. At least Hogan brings the hustle, and can actually score on target once in a while.
