So they say. “He’s building a legacy”. Ok that’s nice. Let’s take a look at 2018 & 2019. Andrade won the WBO belt in October 2018. Charlo won his in April 2018. Both are still undefeated. Canelo fought in December 2018 and May 2019 against guys who had already lost before. Fielding and Jacobs. Why are people using the excuse that he went to 168 to get the belts against undefeated champions when there were already 2 at 160? Isn’t being unified and undisputed the goal? Why are the guys at 168 with undefeated records apparently great 0s to take but not Andrade and Charlos? Seems weird to me to see people brag about beating these undefeated champions while avoiding 2 that were already at 160, while at the same time diminishing the perfect record of the 160 pounders by saying they haven’t fought anyone. Looking for a fax machine.
Andrade and Charlo should've fought each other a long time ago they are both ducks IMO it is not up to Canelo to snatch both their zeros maybe if they had fought each other Canelo would have fought the winner.
And the implication here is that Canelo somehow moved up to avoid Andrade and Charlo? Or are you just confused about Canelo's reasoning for moving up?
Bivol is a better win than both of those on the same night so Im not worried. Not that hes going to beat Bivol anyway.
Th isn’t about now. It’s about 2018-2019. The story today is that Canelo moved up to take undefeated champions belts and unify. There were 2 guys at 160 who had the same exact standing. Why not unify 160?
There is no implication. I’m curious as to why not unify 160 when the same exact story line was at 160.
I do agree it's a little sus he didn't fight Charlo or Andrade... But at the same time, why can't these guys fight each other. It's not like he went to 168 to fight tomato cans, 3 undefeated champs. Also I'd rather see the Bivol fight than an Andrade fight. Maybe Charlo and Andrade both move to 168 fight each other and then put the pressure on Canelo.... He said himself at the Choco vs Martinez fight these guys need to fight each other then he would think about the winner.
Why is that weird? Canelo can't fight everyone. Even though they were robberies he did fight the baddest man at 160 twice in GGG
