Frank Bruno was similar and won his first 21 fights all by knockout before he himself was knocked out in his 22nd fight by James Bonecrusher Smith.I remember seeing a video of that fight with the British commentator saying that, that was the end of the Frank Bruno story. How wrong he was to write off Bruno after one loss.

Vitali Klitschko won the first 27 fights by knockout (100%), but the statistics (especially the statistics of the beginning of his career) do not in themselves say everything about the quality of boxers.

A Wilder fanboy calling Tyson's fights fixed is hilarious.

At least Tyson knocked out legit fighters, and none of his knockouts were from punches to the back of the head.

Yeah but one of the first times he faced a live body he had to go 5 plus with Jesse Ferguson. But of course Ferguson was a very tough opponent to take on after less than one year as a pro. Clayton did a very good job of keeping Tyson busy while significantly upping the quality of opposition quickly. He did a worse job with Tommy Morrison feeding him stiffs and shot fighters, than putting him in with Mercer.

Maybe it was technically a dq but Tyson felled Ferguson with one hellacious uppercut which broke Jesse's nose. Then Jesse went into a shell barely throwing back. It was for all intents and purposes a tko
