He's not a copper. He's a civilian detention officer, or custody assistant. Employed by the police, but not a serving officer.
His regular job is a key turner, tea maker, and form filler yet the geniuses at the BBBofC saw him fit to judge & wefewee world tikle fights.
He lives in Gillingham I think so he’s probably glad to have a job that pays him to travel around the country most weekends.
He's as dodgy as it gets. He's a pawn for the even dodgier BBBoC. What it has done with him is nothing but lip service, as it has been backed into a corner. They weren't backed enough, as far as I am concerned and every dodgy decision should be called out for what it is. Still laughing at the people on here who claim McDermott was robbed against Fury and then claim Taylor beat Catterall. A lot of people who swagger about the forum like they are boxing purists got caught with their pants down on that one. Unforgettable.
didnt know he was a copper explains the corruption why robert smith probably employs him free bent corrupt protection working the tax payers system shame on the bbboc
What difference does his day job make? You can be professional in one life and incompetent in another, as most football fans will tell you about lawyers/accountants-turned-referees
He's wound me up so many times with his shocking scorecards and equally shocking refereeing. Whyte can thank him for just making it over the line against Parker. He's not the only one, most of them are a disgrace. He'll be an A* again in a few weeks, under the radar.
It's an absolute joke that this guy is still allowed to work either as a ref or a judge. His work is just blatant corruption. He probably should be in jail. I'm pretty sure he made some good money or at least got some nice gifts for his corrupt cards. 100%. There are few british judges/refrees who are as bad as him. Howard Foster is another criminal. His card for Usyk vs. Joshua was the craziest and most corrupt thing i have ever seen. 115-113 Usyk is a joke but if you actually look at his card in detail you can see the way he tried to rob Usyk. I think if Joshua would have won the last round his card would've been a 114-114. It was DISGUSTING. IT IS DISGUSTING.
